pete 3
all time european result . has to be celtic beating leeds in the european cup semi final in 1970 .i think in many ways its overlooked . because celtic flopped in milan in the final against fyenoord. if celtic had won the trophy .the leeds result would have been regarded as the best . leeds unt at that time had one off the finest sides ever to grace the game .but their ugly reputation didnt do them any favours . but what a side sprake. bates. giles. bremner, charlton .reeny. gray . hunter clarke

Highlandmagyar 2nd String
..........or Coleraine beating Kilmarnock in the old ICFC? Especially Kilmarnock were 2-0 up at half time at home and lost 2-3??
PrestersKTID
Killie beating Frankfurt at number 30? They were runners up in European cup 4 years previously. Killie 3-0 down after first leg, go 1-nil down in return leg then procede to win 5-1 going through on aggregate. One of the best comebacks ever by a scottish team. You've also not got Dunfermline beating Valencia in 1962. 4-0 down then won 6-2 on return leg.

Audaces Fortuna Juvat
One of those rare players you dread but admire at the same time. A great striker at IL level, and could probably have had a good career over here too.

Really? Scottish sides have performed miracles in Europe over the years, but your list does them no favours, in fact it trivialises their achievements. That match ended Aberdeen 10 KR Reyjavik 0

We also won 4-1 away.
Benjamin_Nevis
You've ranked all of Dundee's wins in the 62-3 European Cup except the biggest one. 8-1 at home vs FC Cologne who were second favourites that year (behind Real Madrid). We've beaten AC Milan twice at Dens but both followed drubbings in the respective away ties so we're pretty meaningless tbh
gordon9736
Fair play for taking the time to make up the lists. Hopefully you can add TNS v Elgin City in a couple of weeks time.
Ro Sham Bo
What about individual 45 minute matches? Do they count? If so, Raith Rovers v Bayern Munich [emoji106] I would have thought our win against Akranes was at least the equal to some of the matches listed there.
Ro Sham Bo
I realise I am biased, but you haven't put our wins over Borussia Moenchengladbach in the top 30? I mean, really? I'm sure there are other omissions, but by Christ, that one leapt out at me. They were fine achievements but don't quite match up with that famous victory for Aberdeen over Barry Town.
Insaintee
Why no mention of St mirren's win over Barcelona, our victory in the Anglo Scottish cup. Or our wins over Notts Forest in a UK cup winner Cup

D.A.F.C
Dunfermline beating Everton who were the big spenders of the day then beating Valencia 6-2 is a great achievement. Valencia went onto win it.
