BACKOFTHENET
Spoiler British Football League Champions - Alternative History 1889 - 2017 I took a few hours to do this. But I think it was worth it. This is looking at if the Scottish, English, Welsh, and Northern Irish Leagues did not exist, and instead the British League had started in 1889 with Scottish, Welsh, English and Irish (then Northern Irish after Irish independence) sides were allowed to join. I do not support the Scottish, English, Welsh, and Northern Irish Leagues merging. I am an Aberdeen, and Inverness fan. We would do nothing in a modern day British League system nowadays. Plus Scotland would lose a major way of showing it’s identity to the rest of the world. But I have done this list to decide who would have been British champions in an age where the Scottish and English leagues merged. I have also added a bit of couner history with the fact that if Northern Ireland has been part of a British League, the Northern Irish teams would have been bigger. Plus I have added an imaginary team called Dublin Irish Celtic United, to represent Republic of Ireland football before independence. Plus I have taken into account, how much bigger sides from Scotland and Northern Ireland would be with British Premiership TV money. ICTChris
Did you just make up a list of teams, some of whom are imaginary, and decide who would've won the imaginary league you have just imagined? OK.

ICTChris
I've done the same for the Northern Cascadian Football League 2013 - Fintleboggan United 2014 - Fintleboggan United (a great team that one) 2015 - Dinglevenkyback Wanderers 2016 - Humberton AFC 2017 - Gherkinverse Town Lots of controversy after Gherkinverse Town were bought over by billionaire Eduard Sherbebenzde from the former Soviet state of Gibrovia, especially given he made all his money in dangerous Plandivarium mining.
senorsoupe
I have two comments 1. You have a lot of free time it seems 2. What's your methodology? Without knowing you you came up with your winners it seems as though you just randomly selected the winners of a league each year based on no criteria whatsoever. -
Jason King
So the addition of Scottish, Irish and Welsh diddy teams means that Manchester United win the league in a year that they didn't previously win the league. I say old boy, do you need help?

Oh indeed old chap, I have a large fallacy. But here is my list, northern powerhouse of Rochdale strangles at birth the so called "Old Firm" - Scotland enters a century long period of peace and prosperity with minimal spousal abuse and street assaults until one day in 1979 when the ITV network cancels Charlie Endell Esq and this leads to the destruction of Glasgow via a tactical nuclear strike by the new independent state of Lewis. 1888 Rochdale 1889 Rochdale 1890 Rochdale 1891 Rochdale 1892 Corinthians 1893 Rochdale 1894 Rochdale 1895 Melboro 1896 Blackport 1897 Blackport 1898 Civil Service Strollers 1899 Blackport 1900 Rochdale 1901 Blackport 1902 Rochdale 1903 Rochdale 1904 Danefield 1905 Rochdale 1906 Rochdale 1907 Thamesford 1908 Rochdale 1909 Rochdale 1910 Danefield 1911 Rochdale 1912 Rochdale 1913 Rochdale 1914 Inter YerMaw 1915 Rochdale 1916 Blackport 1917 Rochdale 1918 Danefield 1919 Rochdale 1920 Blackport 1921 Rochdale 1922 Partick Thistle 1923 Rochdale 1924 Rochdale 1925 Harchester United 1926 Rochdale 1927 East Stirling 1928 Rochdale 1929 Rochdale 1930 Partick Thistle 1931 Rochdale 1932 East Stirling 1933 Rochdale 1934 Albion Rovers 1935 Rochdale 1936 LA Rams 1937 Rochdale 1938 Harlem Globetrotters 1939 Rochdale 1946 Rochdale 1947 Rochdale 1948 Rochdale 1949 Rochdale 1950 Partick Thistle 1951 Partick Thistle 1952 Rochdale 1953 Rochdale 1954 Rochdale 1955 Jesus Wept 1956 Fulham 1957 Burnley 1958 Peterhead 1959 Partick Thistle 1960 Falkirk 1961 Rochdale 1962 Harchester United 1963 Rochdale 1964 The Hurricanes 1965 Rochdale 1966 Melchester Rovers 1967 Aberdeen 1968 Aberdeen 1969 Aberdeen 1970 Aberdeen 1971 Melchester Rovers 1972 Melchester Rovers 1973 Melchester Rovers 1974 Partick Thistle 1975 Rochdale 1976 Accrington Stanley 1977 Partick Thistle 1978 The Hurricanes 1979 Melchester Rovers 1980 Melchester Rovers 1981 Rochdale 1982 Melchester Rovers 1983 Harchester United 1984 Melchester Rovers 1985 Rochdale 1986 Melchester Rovers 1987 Rochdale 1988 Melchester Rovers 1989 Rochdale 1990 Fraserburgh 1991 Melchester Rovers 1992 Rochdale 1993 Melchester Rovers 1994 Melchester Rovers 1995 Rochdale 1996 Harchester United 1997 Rochdale 1998 Motherwell 1999 Rochdale 2000 Partick Thistle 2001 Rochdale 2002 Rochdale 2003 Partick Thistle 2004 Rochdale 2005 Bury 2006 Rochdale 2007 Albion Rovers 2008 Rochdale 2009 FC Basle 2010 Rochdale 2011 Cambridge Utd 2012 Dallas Cowboys 2013 Rochdale 2014 Inter YerMaw 2015 Rochdale 2016 Leicester 2017 Walford United
