Hugh Janus Posted August 23, 2017 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Well took in the Mids v St's tonight and it was all over by half time. St's 3-0 up at the break, Poor defending for the first. The second was a questionable hand ball resulting in a penalty but can see why the ref gave it. The 3rd was a well worked goal with the striker heading it into the top corner. What id say about Mids was there was an individual who moaned groaned and play terrible in the middle of the park, once paddy made changes and hooked him and a couple of defenders they looked the far better side. Possibly paddy didn't send out his best team tonight thinking St's were weak? Mids also need a striker as I seen the smith lad is in plaster who is definitely their best player and goal threat. on a brighter not the standard of refereeing was considerably better than the other night with Brian getting most things right.
