jc1
For someone so highly rated he spills the ball with alarming regularity. Doesn't sound like he was too much at fault today after all, but picking up the back pass (although not a clear cut one) cost us the game the other night. Early days but I find it hard to claim he is the best in the league at this stage. Picking up a pass back that wasn't a pass back cost you's the game? Not think taking off goodwillie and the right mid (2 best players on the night) cost you's the game? I was at the game so can comment

I was at the game so can comment He shouldn't have taken the risk and just dealt with it, he had time from memory. It's one of those ones where a GK makes a mistake and it's much higher profile than an outfield player, ultimately leading to a goal.We probably took off Goodwillie and Ramsay as we looked very comfortable and probably had an eye on the away trip up at Elgin today. We seem to have a habit of going from very comfortable to complete capitulation so that probably was a mistake as it left Smart pretty isolated.Anyway, I am by no means having a pop at Currie. Hopefully he settles in to live up to his reputation. Just had a few dodgy moments so far and as mentioned the defence are hardly water tight either. No wonder we are all so frustraited yet again. Thank God we got news of the Chairman got to meet Stevie Archiebald for a chat and got the two strips that some poor sucker will pay good money to the club...again! Norrie, are you happy with our start to the new season? We are certainly not! There are some comments from him in the Northern Scot report. David W
Quote Clyde kind of came out and questioned whether I could still play, or whatever else at one point Sounds familiar. Started every game, subbed once. Hopefully the chairman sorts us out a stadium and keeps his nose out of what's happening on the pitch.

I'll let Chapman off as there's no doubt in my mind that he would have kept Easton, Linton etc if given the budget to do so. I very much doubt it. As a club we stumble from one crisis to another and are frankly an embarrassment to the name and history. He is stupid if he doesn't move on. the philosopher
I'm very surprised Clyde managed to sneak two 2-1 wins against us this year after we dominated the games.Better enjoy,it won't happen again.
The Clyde Man
OK Chapman is hardly in the door but can he not see what is happening in front of his very nose.Season hardly started but already we're heading down the same road as seems to be normal for us.Sad times indeed. afca32
Know nothing about the game other than getting a notification saying Soapy got a 90+ winner from the penalty spot. Will happily take that. Hopefully kickstarts the season. Mon the fucking City.

Anyone that was there able to elaborate on the pen? Currie has certainly been far from impressive thus far, even before today. Aye. He's shite and has dropped himself. First fucking thing he's got his hands to on the deck was the Elgin player. Far from impressed by Chapmans results, attitude to players and choice of selected players. You don't go from gaffer to player in any dressing room. Football 101. He was only joint interim gaffer though. There are plenty of examples of coaches etc who step up to be interim manager then work under a new manager. Also most of the dressing room he managed is now gone. cfcuk
Chapman has a managerial win ratio of roughly 38 % So going by his previous record we can expect to win about 14 games this season if he can manage to win 1 of the next three games then he will be just about on target for the season.
