Boydy is a very nice lad, but he was never fit in his time at Glencairn. He arrived with a niggling ankle injury and never really shook it off. While he was trying to get fit, we signed Gary Smith and then Liam Gormley and, with Jay McKay in favour as well, Boyd's chances of getting a game slipped further away rather than closer. No doubt he'll do well back at Meadow, as his performances there attracted us to sign him in the first place. But sometimes it just doesn't work out for a player at a club. We have a nice wee Social club in the ground that's open from 12.30pm [emoji106]. All very welcome.Plenty of pubs in town centre.
