Why was Eastfield v Gartcosh postponed? Great result for EKYM. Kevin Nolan back refereeing in the Central?

I think they switched the tie to gartcosh home game and then was postponed due to the weather. Seen Kevin ref last night at dalziel in the game between colvile and camby.

Coville park 100% deserved their victory, no doubt about it but it was blatantly obvious from the side that the ref in question favoured the amateur giants. Not seen as blatant a penalty in a long time and yet he never seen it. It's a real shame as referee's must feel some sort of pressure to favour the big boys. Suppose this happens all over the world regardless of what level you play at. Take nothing away from covilles though, very very strong outfit and couldn't help notice it probably wasn't there strongest 11.

Also took in the Dalziel v Wishaw Wycombe game before hand out on the grass. Dalziel looked a shadow of the team they were last season. Not sure if they have injuries or missing a few with it being the holiday period. They did control most of the game to be fair but towards the end Wishaw came into it and the game could have went either way. Wishaw do have some decent individual players, but think they will struggle in the Calley with the style of football they play - very direct with little 'football' being played.

Always good to take in a few local games at the one venue, just a shame grass parks at DL doesn't get used as much!

Dalziel is a cracking grass park. A waste that they're not used as often but what can you do?

Agree with your sentiments about Wishaw, they're very wasteful in possession sometimes. Only their second season amateur though and they had two of their starting centre midfielders missing through an injury and work. First goal from Dalziel was a great finish but poor from Wishaw to allow it to get to where it did.
Wasn't overly impressed with Dalziel either. Expected them to run over the top of Wishaw but whether it's a credit to Wishaw or a poor performance from Dalziel, or even a bit of both?
Dalziel probably deserved the win in the end given they were more clinical in front of goal.

Watched both the games in question. Colvile battered camby and were deserved winners.

Dalziel controlled the game for 70 minutes then wishaw had a wee 20 minute rally that wasn't enough. Dalziel rested about 6 players. Didn't think dalziel got out of second gear and still had enough.

Then on the Tuesday I watched wishaw fps v craignuek. The quality in the game was very very poor. Craignuek seemed a stuffy team who sat in a fair bit and wishaw just didn't have very much quality to break them down.

Rested 6 players? Its the second game of the season and a cup competition and they are resting players. This isn't champions league. I find that extremely hard to believe in all honesty.

Kevin Nolan is a crap ref. Far too big for his boots especially after getting a Scottish cup final.

Great ref. Good addition to central.
