We should have been 5-0 or 6-0 up but missed chances galore, and ended up hanging on after Maryhill scored a bit of a fluke with five minutes left. glensmad Posted May 9, 2018 Author Share Posted May 9, 2018 A setback for us tonight, but you can't start a game 25 minutes late like we did tonight and expect to get a good result.Having said that, we nearly did as we were the better team for the last hour, but that opening 25 minutes was horrible to watch and we paid the price.Still in our own hands though. glensmad Posted May 9, 2018 Author Share Posted May 9, 2018 Was a good game tonight meadow went for it first half second half they weren’t in it thought once Rutherglen got there first goal the meadow players heads went down but the held on and scored a great 3 rd goal with about the only shot at goal they had in second half Yeh, we absolutely dominated the second half, and the Meadow keeper made two terrific saves to deny Smith. It wasn't to be our night, but the way we played from the half hour mark onwards has given us confidence for the final two games. Our fate is still in our own hands.
