gingerbreadman
Can't disagree too much with above. Maybe Newton v Bonnyton might be a bit closer

Mattmc
Stranraer won pretty comfortably. Two but could of been five. Both team will be ok but will struggle against more physical teams. Most entertaining part was Knox and Ben Herries (sp) losing the plot when Stranraer ran out of footballs. Maybe if your players kept the ball in the park there wouldn't of been that issue. Not really a right place to air this but strange that out of 12 committee members there were only two visible at tonight's game.

The golden boot
I took in the Newton game tonight. Good game for the spectators with a fast paced game. An excellent display once again by Newton although they had to work extremely hard for the three points. Bonnyton are a really good side, probably just lack a little experience at times but they will be at the upper end of the league come the end of the season. Great to see 'Yut' at the game tonight after a long time out of football. I would also like to compliment the ground staff at Newton Stewart FC as the grass was looking splendid and the ball rolled very true.
SaintMan
who is all playing for reserves, all young boys or any firmiliar faces?
shagger#1
Took in the lochar game tonight. Lochar playing some great stuff again in parts. Annan really poor, they will be fighting ym to try and not finish bottom. Russel Caskie has worked wonders to get some of the players that he has got to lochar. Will be hard to beat. Mattmc
who is all playing for reserves, all young boys or any firmiliar faces? Mostly young boys. Mark Whorlow the only experienced player. A few boys have one or two years experience in the league; Dean Fyfe, Kyle McCutcheon, Matthew Robertson, Scott Phillips, Chris Chilton. Think the rest have stepped up from the under 17's. ecclesbrother
I know its early but i predict the league to be very close this year. Potentially between 5 or so teams. Great advert for the South.
Reserves
Mark whorlow Chris chilton Matthew Robertson Lewis McIntyre reece Agnew all stepped down from wigtown. scott Phillips dean fyfe from Creetown callum Scott stepped down for the Stranraer u20 team. rest are u17. Young team but last nights performance showed there is hunger to see out games and a lot of good young footballers. Hopefully a successful season for the reserves

Reserves
Both ex Creetown players had good game last night. Unfortunately Scott and mark and 3 others are not there against the league favourites lochar. gingerbreadman
I think Newton or Lochar. Don't think threave will be near those two. Saints defence will let them down against the better sides so can't see them challenging either.
