Three Hopes for This Season

I know we will have the prediction thread as usual, but with pre season games not far away I'm interested to see your top 3 hopes for this NFL season...

1. The superbowl does not feature the cowboys, seahawks or patriots.

2. A running back tops 2000 yards.

3. Sky ditch that Dara or whatever her name is from presenting duties.

- Lions build in last season and start competing with the playoff class teams. Obviously I'd say "make a Super Bowl run" but that's a bit of an ask.

- Browns make some progress. I'm going to see them play the Vikings and I like the way they are trying to rebuild.

- Oakland win the Super Bowl. It'd be great for them to make a run while still at Oakland and I liked watching them last season. They were really unlucky to lose Carr and then he's back up to injury before the play offs.

1. The Chargers go the season without a ridiculous amount of injuries

2. The Broncos and Raiders don't make the play offs

3. Patriots-Cowboys Super Bowl, purely for the tears on here

3. Someone else wins the NFC East

History says this is anything but unrealistic.  The only team not to win the NFC East since 2012 is the Giants (they won in in 2011).  No team since Eagles in 01-04 have won back to back titles.  Since 2010 only the Giants sit on 1 East win.

Anyone but Packers/Patriots/Seahawks to win the Super Bowl

Vikes to win the game I'm going to at Twickenham

Vikes to beat Lions twice after last seasons terrible showing

The fantasy community are creaming over Perkins. Personally I think Vereen is your boy, if he can stay healthy that is.

Vereen will be the catching back. Perkins showed flashes last season but I'm still not optimistic. Our line still needs work

Redskins:

1. 3rd and long to not be an automatic 1st down on D.

2. Win a Prime Time game.  Don't care if it ends 2-0 and it's a game that gets football banned, just do it.

3. At least sweep one team and at least split 1-1 with the other two - in otherwords end at least 4-2 in the NFC East.

1. Superbowl winners
2. NFC champions
3. NFC West champions

Alternatively;
1. Avoid the injuries to crucial players that blighted last season
2. O-Line to protect Russell better than last few seasons
3. At least one of the RBs to have a stand out season.
