Even though I though it was a pretty even game New Farm controlled most of the ball but they just couldn't get it working for them. Game stopped 5mins early due a horrible looking injury to Duffy, looked as though his studs got caught in the ground as he went to tackle. Wish him a speedy recovery. Was an enjoyable game with both teams having good opportunities to score. Ryan Caddis scored a screamer, could've had a hat trick. Duffy, Connell and Fitzy were also class acts on the park. New Farm have always been a good team but with the new management and players they'll step it up another level. We're delighted with our boys at Kilbride Thistle for the effort put in, good result against a good team especially with a lot of players missing (it's that time of year!) Also worth mentioning the post match hospitality was superb as well at The Charleston. Good luck to Faz and the boys for the season. They've got a good thing going over there.
