Not heard any whispers about this.

There is a rumour however that the SoSL has been talking to the EoS.  Anyone else heard this ?

Either way, rumours can be very misleading, especially at present when the wind of change is blowing strongly.

I'm sure there must be some discussions going on, not necessarily attributed to those clubs not participating. Just would makes considering the EoSFL seeking additional promotion spots to the Lowland League and offering support with setting up a WoSFL.

Of course we will

Good news for 2018/19 that the rumour about Creetown leaving the SoSFL, is false.

Looking ahead though,  do South clubs want to be part of the suggested WoSL for 2019/20, and at what level ? The SJFA apparently wants a 'shoe in' for the West Super League, at tier 6 level, and does not appear to have considered any SoSFL clubs being included. We await the views of the Pyramid Working Group regarding this proposed feeder league, and the remainder of the pyramid. With this in mind........

 (1) should the SoSFL remain as an independent senior league @ tier 6 of the pyramid ?

Alternatively would its clubs settle for  either :

(2) tier 7 in the new WoSL, if/when it is set up ?

or

(3) realignment at tier 7 under the umbrella of the EoSL league ?

Also, are Wigtown returning for 2018/19 ?

Not too sure on the whole licence/ LL thing (don't think the SFA are either!) but surely if Heston keeps playing at Palmerston the ground issue is taken care off. The rest ie manager coaches, physio and admin are if not easier certainly less expensive. Bonnyton still has a fair bit to go as do Mids.

The rest are still a long and expensive step away IMO. Final issue is practicality and desire.

Any idea when the SoSFL AGM is being held ?

That's good to know considering the lack of communication that seems to happen elsewhere in Scottish football.

Any rumours about the SoSFL and the proposed WoSL for next season and 2019/20 ?

Wigtown are the only club mentioned so far as joining for the 2018-19 season. Bonnyton and the inclusion of the reserve sides popped out of nowhere last year so there might be another surprise. Although with the league reaching 16 if they don't lose any clubs this year, they might not be looking for anyone.

AGM is at the end of the month I believe.

The BSC email brought up a WoSFL at tier 6 along the SoS/EoS. BSC seem to have left the public discussion on the WoSFL. Instead Clydebank and Kilwinning have become the public face of it. Clydebank having investigated all their options and opted for a deferred application to the EoS, but in their statement announcing the decision they said that a West of Scotland league would be their preferred option. Kilwinning  chairman interviewed in the Sunday Mail today as part of it he reckons if a EoS equivalent existed in the West, a dozen clubs could join from the Juniors mirroring the moves we've seen to the EoS this year.

You'd like to think that the Kilwinning chairman is pretty clued in to the feelings in the West Regions. If 12 plays out as correct it's probably not enough to be an equal tier 6 league, so trying to add the best of the SoS makes sense. Especially as it'd leave the SoS with enough clubs to run as a decent feeder league below.

I’ll just leave this here . What a way to announce they are back . Well done Wigtown !!

Are Wigtown & Bladnoch about to lose their SFA Licence, as a consequence of the club not having floodlights at Trammondford  Park ?

I've not seen any recent updates on their website, but I may have missed an announcement ?
