Aron Lynas ex Brechin and Ryan Goodfellow ex Cowden joining Rovers

Lynas is a jinx. Relegated with every club he has played with so far (Alloa, Shire, Brechin City).

Jordan Stewart seemed to have a few injury/illness issues, and Lennon didn't play him much during the 2nd Half of the season.

However always thought we looked solid at the back when he was in the team, and think he will do well with Rovers fitness- dependant.

He was a youth with us sure he was still with us the season we got relegated from the Championship and strangely signed by Alloa. Going by that stat not a good one for Rovers:lol:

Lynas is full of energy and will give you 100%. However is fairly limited and has a tendency to throw himself into rash challenges. His 2 red cards in the Championship cost us points in games we looked comfortable in.

Hope he does well at Albion, a very likeable chap.

When Stewart is fit he is a fantastic player, just keeping him off the injury table is hard. Is he stays fit hes an excellent signing for you guys. Would've kept him but I think Lennon didn't prefer him that much and his niggling back problem kept him out most of the season

Absolute bombscare.

Hmm, I suspected that would be the case when I seen where Goodfellow had been playing recently. Here's hoping he's only here to challenge for the starting job and not a shoo-in as No 1. We will definitely need another goalkeeper, and maybe a bit of competition will bring Goodfellow on.

The other signings seem promising though, and for the first tine in years we could actually field a team at this stage of the season; we normally shop in the July 2nd chance market.

He played 1 1st team game for us against East Fife in the Irn Bru Cup which we were winning 1-0 with little threat until he let a guy score dierct from a corner and minutes later conceded another goal from a corner.

This more or less ended his time with us as he sat on the bench and only played in the Fife Cup v Burntisland.

When McGurn was suspended a few months later we brought a 36 year old in on loan from Livi to cover for him. Strange that Harvey signed him for Berwick as he must have knew he wasn't rated by our manger as he was manager of Berwick the day we brought the loan guy in.

Possibly hasn't happened before but one of your old players, Tom Sermanni, has coached his side to a win over England. NZ beat them 1-0 in Brighton on Saturday in a warm-up for the Women's World Cup.
