Should we get rid of diddy teams like St Johnstone and Hamilton to improve the Scottish game?

Recommended Posts

Serious question, we don't need teams filled with hammer throwers who are managed by members of the jobs for the boys scheme.

Martin Canning and Tommy Wright are the 2  most technically and tactically limited managers in the league, they only want to send players out to hoof the ball up to the strikers, or foul players to stop the opposition from playing any form of football.

The players in each team are just journeyman grafters with 0 footballing ability. Liam Craig, David Wetherspoon, Darian McKinnon and Dougie Imrie sum this category up perfectly.

Falkirk and St Mirren are genuine better fits for the top division rather than these 2 ancient diddy teams.

Thoughts?

St Mirren are in the Championship because that's where we deserve to be.

That's football.

Leave it be

Falkirk once brought 18 fans to a top of the table clash at their biggest rivals.

St Mirren escaped possible relegation from the Championship on the very last day of the season.

St Johnstone and Hamilton are clearly 'better fits' for the top flight than those two.

Tommy Wright is so technically and tactically inept that he's slipped your mob a massive Perthshire length numerous times over the past few years.

Hearts are the biggest hammer throwers in Scottish football ffs

I'm guessing that with Leonard at the helm, hibs will now take that title.

What a stupid thread, how would replacing two teams that retained their place on merit, one of these teams finishing high up the table improve Scottish Football. Falkirk were nowhere good enough to go up last year and St Mirren were fighting relegation. I think I have just bitten to a wind up thread aimed at Hamilton and St Johnstone fans but it is Brian Belo levels of stupid.

Complains about 'diddy teams' shitfesting their way through top flight seasons; calls for Saint Mirren, kings of the 11th place finish and actual top-flight employers of Gus McPherson to be brought into the league.

Don't think you've quite thought that one through tbh.
