Your old school & famous ex pupils

I can recall no famous folk from Bo'ness Academy other than the ginger lassie who is now adorning bus shelters all over Scotland as a consequence of the Tesco advertising campaign.

Stranraer Academy doesn't really boast anyone famous. Former pupils include Allan Little, BBC News Correspondent, Kevin Kyle and Colin Calderwood. Other than that it's the usual array of lower league footballers that most schools probably have.

Going by Wiki there seems to be a few musicians from my former school.

KT Tunstall, The Beta Band, King Creosote, James Yorkston and Dogs Die In Hot Cars. Other former pupils such as SNP MP Chris Law and some wifey off Smack The Pony as well as a bunch of science fuckers.

I am the only worthwhile person to come out of Mainholm Academy, I was so popular with the teachers that I went back for a 2nd shot at 27.

I went to the same primary school as Kevin Bridges and the same secondary as Kevin Gallacher, which was next door to the Douglas Hotel which was used as the pub in T2:Trainspotting.

Douglas Hotel/The Port Sunshine is probably St Andrews biggest claim to fame.

Barry James O'Neill, singer songwriter/former Kassidy frontman/former shagger of Lana Del Rey went there as well.

Can't think of anything else noteworthy, off the top of my head.  Apart from me.

Was in same year as Moyes. Had no idea about the others until I looked it up.
