Ira Gaines
Given the curfew, they'd be on for about five minutes. So basically, whoever said that is talking utter shite.

Yeah most likely. Although I found it a bit strange that the curfew on Saturday night is 11pm, when it's midnight on the Friday. Sunday I can understand, but Saturday..? Wishful thinking really. Getting the train down tomorrow morning and I can't wait

It was the same at T in the Park for a long time as well. The Saturday night late curfew was a pretty recent thing.
accies1874
They're never coming Anyways, town's mobbed tonight so should hopefully be a good atmosphere for the weekend. My pyro's not arrived, though, so there'll be one less smoke bomb

Boostin' Kev
A mate of mine's is going with his girlfriend and her mates today. I'll be delighted if he has to endure a 2.5 hour Radiohead set.

Jason King
There wasn't the usual plethora of scheme goblins, junkies, people from Greenock looking bewildered at being in the big city and the utter scum of humanity hanging around the train station this morning with their carry outs and pitiful tents that you used to see when T in the Park was on.

That's because Kasabian are playing tomorrow night.
paul-r-cfc
Apart from the £5 pints of Carlsberg, how's the first day been?
accies1874
Good. Rag 'n' Bone Man and London Grammar were incredible. Pretty much all sound folk there, too. A lot more organised than T which makes a difference.
Miguel Sanchez
Watching this on the telly (Radiohead playing Let Down btw, oof) makes me aware that vaping has become a thing since I was last at outdoor music That's a waft of synthetic cherry steam I'm glad I escaped
Sergeant Wilson
Willie Nelson is doing well for his age. I take that back, I think he's having a stroke. Edited July 7, 2017 by Sergeant Wilson
Joey Jo Jo Junior Shabadoo
I can't help but think there's a large amount of Emperor's new clothes about Radiohead. They are fucking shite but nobody wants to admit it. Made worse by the fact some jobsworths wouldn't let me over St Andrew's Bridge to get home. c***s. As were the jobsworths.
Cumdog35
So my mate that was going today and has the tickets, had a little too much last night and had to get his stomach pumped. Oops.

Might just be that a lot of people enjoyed Radiohead. I thought they were brilliant.

Ira Gaines
Fun. Belle and Sebastian were great. London Grammar were decent. Radiohead were brilliant and kinda helped by a cracking atmosphere where I was.
Louis Litt
Some guy at my work is adamant that this is due to become a camping thing next year, and TITP's done for good (the latter most folk already suspect tbh.) As someone who admittedly knows absolutely f**k all about the layout of Glasgow Green, does anyone reckon there's any chance he's right? Or is he just havering a load of shite?
