Celtic make a great financial profit. Brendan Rodgers gets to bring in his targeted replacement. Dembele gets to test himself at a higher level. Dembele gets the opportunity to play in the CL and also I’d imagine he will hope to progress to full France squad. Not sure what all the fuss is about.
naegoodinthedark
Yip, we’ve def got egg on our face after only getting a £19m profit on an injury prone striker. What are we like. Think that’s a tremendous bit of business by Celtic.

Really have no issue with this transfer as hes injury prone and we already signed his replacement in Edouard. My main issue is not signing a right back when Lustig is clearly on his way out and Gamboa being suspect defensively. On top of that we should have pre-empted the Boyata situation and signed a centre back way before the last day of the season and sent him on his merry way. Add in the Mcginn debacle and Lawwel has made a rip roaring c*nt of it. Edited September 1, 2018 by gannonball

Romeo
£19.7mill is quite a wedge. Hopefully Griff and Eddy can keep things ticking over until January although I doubt we will spend much of our windfall on a replacement.

A cursory google of "moussa dembele chelsea" suggests otherwise 19 million for someone who wanted to leave and signed for 500k in the first place is obviously exceptional business, but laughing at the bullshit figures of the past he didn't move for is what people do at you and Rangers. I think they've rejected a collective 40 million from various Morelos bids.
wastecoatwilly
Asking Sinclair, rogic, ntcham,McGregor, forrest to chip in with scoring goals this season after scoring 64 between them last season shouldn't be a problem.
