There should be no exceptions if a rule is brought in, and it should be a minimum percentage which can't be reduced, allowing clubs to give more if they think it's needed. If Hamilton and Livi don't fill it then f**k it. That's their problem.

What im advocating is the minimum percentage has to be OFFERED by home club, up to away club if they uptake the full whack, if not, allow home club to sell to their own fans, you want as many people as possible at games and empty seats when demand is there is plain daft.

Example,  say the league stipulate 5%, thats 3000 at Celtic Park,  clearly Rangers,  Aberdeen and possibly, depending on form the Edinburgh sides would sell that, Hamilton,  Livingston,  Dundee etc wont, if they say, give us 500, give them said 500 and sell the remaining 2500 general sale to home support,  same at Ibrox, Easter Road etc.

If a club want to offer more to away fans like Kilmarnock and Motherwell etc normally do then fine, end of the day you want as many full houses and tickets sold for matches in general as possible, that makes sense to anyone surely?

Complete and utter bollocks as you well know, im sure there was an unprecedented demand for ST during the Souness years and Rangers nine in a row but I could count on one hand the amount of times we won there in that decade, four consecutive pumpings and Celtic fans and players celebrating had your mob frothing at the mouth to cut our allocation,  it was all over social media and the forums with little thought for the 7000 or so fellow Rangers fans who would miss out on a ticket for CP who are the real losers in the clubs pig headed decision. It was obvious Celtic would reciprocate the gesture,  for every action there is a reaction etc etc.

For the record im neither happy nor dissapointed at Celtic's inevitable return gesture,  I actually think its a genuine shame that this derby, possibly the only high profile one in football to have a big away support (yes I know some of the songs from each support can be less than PC) will now lose part of it's uniqueness and appeal, I genuinely think the fixture at both grounds will be poorer for it, interesting to note Celtic have left the door open in their statement for a return to the status quo in future, for my tuppence worth I reckon the SPFL should stipulate a minimum amount or percentage for away fans, the current 'reasonable provision' wording is too vague and counts for f**k all.

Rangers, Celtic,  Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen have all, at various points shafted away supports when it suits them, a 5 or 10 percent provision for visiting supports should be stipulated in my opinion.

All this fuss over not getting a ticket to see a six year old club, get over yourself.

Again I have to point that this is for every premiership club and not just Celtic, their fans sense of entitlement is getting rather tiresome.

So there is more demand for tickets for Ibrox now than for when Gascoigne,  Laudrup, Albertz and co were on their way to nine in a row?

It was all over social media and the forums Vicky, your dimwit support couldnt stand seeing a full Broomloan of celebrating Celtic fans, and Squint Eastwood bowed to their wishes to appease them and deflect from his shambolic chairmanship and numerous court appearances,  you'd have to be thick as pigshit to not grasp that...

Oh, hang on :whistle

Point of order here....

It was Hibs aka "this partikyulur club" that broke the **** resulting in this arguement.

No unprecedented demand from the glory hunting bigot hordes of either cheek.

Hibs caused this glorious arsecheek headsgone

After conquering the SFA, UEFA and FIFA Lawwel has now turned his attention to Rugby.....

That's weird. Good income for Celtic, but why on earth would Rugby want to give money to a football club when they could keep it in their own sport?

There are many bigger and better rugby grounds, bit surprised.

Im a bit miffed myself tbh, the disdain for football by your average Rugby fan I thought would have made this a no-goer.

Only Twickenham, the Millennium, and Murrayfield (which hosted it in 2014) are bigger grounds than Celtic Park. And it's not like you'd need something bigger, as the last two years in Dublin haven't sold out: https://www.pro14rugby.org/2018/07/30/celtic-park-2019/

Presumably they don't want to keep having it at the Aviva every year, so going back to Scotland but not at Murrayfield again is their best option. And if it's anything like the last few years there's a decent chance of it being an Ireland/Scotland team final, which would be perfect.

Here is the text
