The Celtic All Seasons thread

Recommended Posts

Following the gathering of Celtic supporters in the Glasgow Cross area today, Saturday, 14 May 2022, Chief Superintendent Mark Sutherland, Divisional Commander for Greater Glasgow Division, said:

"Police Scotland is a human rights-based organisation that puts our values of integrity, fairness, respect and a commitment to upholding human rights at the heart of everything we do.

“This afternoon thousands of Celtic supporters gathered in the area of Glasgow Cross to celebrate their team’s achievement. A proportionate policing plan was in place which facilitated the gathering, prioritised public safety and sought to minimise disruption to businesses and communities.

“While there was an unacceptable level of anti-social behaviour and littering there were no serious incidents or disorder.

"There were some outbreaks of minor disorder and our officers acted swiftly and robustly to prevent escalation and protect safety. Over the course of the evening there were six arrests for offences including assault and acts of public disorder. A further four people were issued with fixed penalty notices."

The state of the Rangers fans in here is embarrassing, I'm surprised there wasn't more violence, it's not like glaswegians to congregate in large numbers and not start fighting for no reason.

Kind of the point

last year every single rangers fan was demanded to answer on behalf of the bams who came out following winning the title . So just returning the favour

Not even last year; the lead up to Seville has seen plenty climb up on high horses that they’re now falling off. That’s objectively funny regardless of support.

It really isn’t. This is only a thing in your wee bubble.

**** loving the fact we are the champions so they can trawl through Twitter for offensive behaviour. Classic benny - they forced a door. 😂

Shouldn't have been so sanctimonious last season then.

And it would be fair enough if the majority of them were out last night trying to cause as much damage as possible whilst beating the daylights out of each other (like your mob last year) but they seemed reasonably well behaved yesterday so your attempts here are really just coming across like a tears and snotters tantrum.

Even trying to suggest it’s close to the what happens last year is laughable

Even the police have said there were no major incidents or disorder and only made around 6 arrests. You would get more than that at TRSNMT however i agree it’s disappointing to see how much litter was left behind.

Compare that to last season where there were over 50 arrests, injured police officers riot police out in force, CCTV images posted online by the police of those they were looking for etc etc.

So by trying to return the favour all you have done is show just how much loosing this league hurts you despite your best efforts to suggest otherwise.

“But but but but i’m going to Seville” 😂😂😂😂

The videos and photos would suggest otherwise.
