I think he most certainly would have got game time but he wasn’t signing a new deal so Murray got in ahead of him despite nowhere nearly as highly rated. Bordeaux apparently another option for him Like the look of the Greek fella, some effort to finish top scorer in a league where your club was relegated. Good aerial presence which will suit the way we play now with wingers and lots of crosses. Concerning that we seem to be happy with our left back options unless Ange thinks he can develop Montgomery into a starter. Its the first major tactical mistake Ange has made imo playing Eddie today with DT behind him, I imagine he felt he needed a more physical presence but it didn’t work and he took too long to change it. Apart from the corner we didn’t make that many mistakes at the back today, a few unnecessary fouls but it was better than it was on Thursday it was in midfield we looked a little weak.
