The man is an embarrassment. Never liked him at Hibs and the manner of his departure there displayed all the warning signs Celtic needed but their 'Tin Pot' way of dealing with things came back to bite them big time. What can be in no doubt though is that no man has done more to drag a club from peak to trough in a shorter time than Neil Lennon. An absolute shambles or a reign culminating in the fabled 10 being blown to smithereens by Steven Gerrard putting out an organised team. The warning signs were there up until New Year last season. I remember how palpable the tension was for him, he physically aged that season, it just meant so much to him. When Burns left no one was angry, just sad for a great Celt that couldn't quite get it done. Lennon on the other hand has insulted everyones intelligence for months with absolute drivel and a litany of excuses, all the while grimly hanging on to get his big pay off. Had he gone after the Sparta game or Ross County earlier in the season I'd have still felt sorry for him, but he's fucked any goodwill with me the way he's carried on for months. Too little too late.
