Most fans seem done with him but Rodgers and Ange see something in him so happy to go off their judgement. Tbh I happy enough with Maeda in the middle, he got some scrappy goals playing there when he first came. Its obviously a downgrade from GG and Kyogo but realistically what level of striker are we going to convince to come in as 3rd choice when we only ever really play one. Maeda is a natural striker he was top goal scorer in the J League before coming to us so i’ve no issue with him playing there.
