Of course that is entirely up to them. As for your take on events they simply don't correspond with the actual events - as described by the person on the receiving end of such requests. I'm not defending Griffiths - he was incredibly naive and also incredibly creepy. They are saying Kyogo isn’t being selected due to injury and claim he “looks certain to be out” of the game. It wont get anybody overly excited but its decent business imo - the idea of us having a top class keeper as a number 2 is unrealistic, also makes sense to have a homegrown player as back up keeper.
