McKenna is worth 10m because that's what Aberdeen have decided he is. There's absolutely no other criteria needed.

Much the same as Celtic being able to decide that he's not. Much like the other way around, there's no other criteria needed.

He's simply worth what he's worth to the teams in question. This isn't rocket science.

We find out what a player is worth once he is sold. Like you say, its not hard.

Folk losing their shit over how much a player is or isn't worth... 😂

Facts are, whether it be Tierney or McKenna or even M'Bappe, the player is 'worth' what the selling club can get for him and what the interested club are willing to pay.

Selling clubs will demand a relatively unreasonable price and the buying side will initially go in with a low offer, it's how football transfers work and hardly a new phenomenon, state of some of the replies on here....

Anyone sussed out why McKenna is supposedly worth 10 million yet?

Surely the sheep should just accept a few million and some loan player that celtic can spare.

Uppity sheep getting above themselves....

That is usually how it works & a mutual agreement is usually the outcome, Lawwell is a Poundland Daniel Levy however so anything that restricts his ill gotten bonus is fine by me.

Ugh. Celtic in for Lowe if they sell Tierney. That would be a fantastic signing.

Would rather go baws oot for Lowe than McKenna.

I think whoever gets him this season will only have him on loan. Tremendous stop gap though.

If Celtic do sell Tierney I would rather see Greg Taylor brought in over Max Lowe.   Celtic will probably go for the cheaper option of Lowe on loan though

Lowe seemed to do better against Forrest last season but both are decent players.

Are Celtic really interested in Carl Jenkinson? He's absolutely rubbish.

Sadly he's been consistently mentioned.  Celtic should go for Omar Eladbellaoui instead from Olympiacos, better and probably cheaper

Lennon getting savaged by West Brom this morning.

Apparently they sent him up here purely for Rodgers, and then were "hugely disappointed" at how Burke was coached once Lennon arrived.

Feel like you might find this a lot now tbh, the player you could attract under Rodgers wont touch you under Lennon, especially since that's now two players (Weah and Burke) hes been publicly criticised over.

Lennon did sign Van Dyke and Wanyama...didn't do their careers any harm

Not all. The Celtic assistant manager is in the media today calling Turnbull unambitious and claiming hes "all about money" today.

That's classless and undignified from a paid member of staff, and while it keeps fans on side, players will see that's how they act and not want their name dragged through the gutter if they aren't able to find an agreement on wages.

Is that a direct quote from him or is another one of your Fables?

I shall refer you again to to the last time you came up with made up quotes RG.  Whilst there is an article today about his time at Celtic there is no mention at how he was coached. I assume its more over playing time and him leaving out the loan players in general but I'm not going to make up quotes about it.

But yes Lennon is obviously less of a pull than Rodgers. However I can remember one of Lennon's first signings was Ledley, if you listen to him speaking to Si Ferry he managed to convince him to turn down Roma and an EPL team to get him up here. His reputation is nowhere near Rodgers but players say he doesn't make you half feel wanted which is handy as Lawwells wage offers often suggest otherwise.

Given we have one questionable injury prone right back in Ralston I would happily take him right now with the qualifiers coming up.
