The transfers from Israel have been decent Biton, Kayal and the best of them all Effy Ballon d'or.
Hopefully hatem abd elhamed can do just as well.

Mind we had that Gershon lad for a bit too, did the job tbh for the brief spell he was here.

I usually don't like the idea of signing back up players but given we only have one young right back who Lennon doesn’t appear to trust and 3 centre backs* we do need bodies around that area.  Only1 cap for an Israeli 28 year old doesn't fill me with confidence but will see what he is like in the flesh first.

*I dont class Hendry as a footballer enough to give him a desired position.

I think Lennon will change formations through the season so still think Ralston will get his chance but bring this player in would suggest we will see more of the 3 at the back.

Being reported that Tierney has agreed terms at Arsenal.

Are Celtic holding out for a set amount, in a one off payment?

It's 'being reported' by one of those Twitter gossip accounts, the English equivalent of 'Agent Kevin'.

Draw your own conclusions from that.

Transfer request incoming? If so, then what?

Do the deal on Arsenal's terms or keep an unhappy player having scuppered his move on top wages to a bigger club?

Arsenal can't afford Tierney either.
They can but they are trying to adopt Levy tactics vs his biggest disciple. There will only be one winner here & it will not be Arsenal.

They absolutely can. Celtic asking for daft money is a different matter altogether.

The illusion has been created by the EPL mediocre players going for £20 million, whether you think Celtic are asking for daft money it's good Celtic are in a position not to sell.

Difference being these players help the clubs fill up quotas; adding to their 'value'.

Would agree with this which is why Mcguire is going for a lot more than De Ligt.

I was hearing the other why bang average English ageing English goalkeepers get so many gigs in the top flight and not playing for years but its for the same reason.

They offered £60m for Zaha. Spent £27m on a younger player from Saint Etienne.

Refusing to meet your valuation doesn't mean they can't afford him.
