Been injured for weeks, his season was over in March, a bit like rangers tbh

Lol. I suppose. Difficult to keep a player like that when you don’t know who the manager will be next season.

Belgium international so potentially losing a 10m player by Scottish valuations for zero.

Whiling away my time pre match in a pub near Easter Road, and I can't find a "Celtic's Next Permanent Manager" thread. I would like someone to start one (I don't have the ability) so I can vote for Neil Lennon.

Probably should have been sold last summer though.

It was inevitable he wasn't signing a contract so we should have got  guys in way sooner. He ended up having a great season for us but given we didn't make the champions league partly because of him I agree he should have been sold for the money that was being talked about. Lawwell has a lot to answer for in this debacle for me as much as we wanted to blame him and his agent.

Yes, not a great business decision to free him.

It would have paid off IF we made the champions league but given he spat the dummy out when we had f**k all centre backs it was a way too risky move and we should have signed at least one centre back early in the summer knowing that Hendry/Compper were dog shit and Ajer was injured.

Yes that’s what I said. Not a great business decision.

Great tribute from Athletico Bilbao for McNeil. Thinking maybe the SFA should do something similar and honour guys who spent a career at one club no matter how small. Get them out before kick off at a cup final?

Not seen it myself but apparently Boyata gave an interview today saying "if people knew the truth about why I decided to leave, I wouldn't be seen as the bad guy".  Curious as to whether Rodgers has perhaps broken some promises to Boyata similar to what he supposedly did to Dembele.
