Guest DAVIDB69 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 The problem isn't that 20,000 have travelled, it's that all of them have tried to get into a 3,000-capacity away end! God loves a trier, to be fair. It's such an easy journey cologne-aachen , Eurostar to London. You would have thought they may have been better prepared
7-2 5,413 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 There's meant to be thousands of them dotted around the Arsenal sections as the tickets were on open sale and they apparently bought loads of them.

Crazy. Similar thing happened when Napoli came to Anfield in 2010. Italians getting turned away at the turnstiles and then kicking off. Those in the home section all congregated together and the stewards and police formed a line to segregate them.

Same happened (albeit on a much smaller scale) when Celtic won the league at Firhill a couple of years ago.

Easier to spot a Celtic fan pretending to be a Partick fan than an Italian trying to be scouse imo.

Jmothecat2 814 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 This isn't happening, is it? Fucks sake. Imagine being a cologne fan with a ticket. You've waited years to be playing a competitive match against a team like Arsenal in Europe, you've got a ticket, you are going, and then it gets cancelled because a group of twats without tickets try to rush the barriers.
Duffy_ 249 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 Be surprised if the Arsenal game goes ahead. Koln fans who have tickets in the home end trying to get into the away end and thousands of others without tickets outside attempting to get in.

LincolnHearts 1,118 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 Some scenes in North London. Reminiscent of when 2.5 million Celtic fans travelled to Seville.
7-2 5,413 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 Police Scotland and G4S are sitting wondering what this ejecting away fans from home sections nonsense is all about.

Jmothecat2 814 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 Interesting tactic from the away fans with tickets for the home end who haven't just done the sensible thing that everyone else does and sat quietly with their mouths shut, but actually tried to fight their way to the away end to basically extend the away end.

There German. They're used to taking territory which isn't theirs.
