Scenes at the Atalanta goals. Just caught the highlights with Nigel Spackman explaining how "it's a tough place to go", even though Atalanta aren't even playing at their own ground. Surprising result though, they've been fairly poor so far this season. Everton must be shite.

Why aren't Atalanta playing at their home ground?  I haven't been paying much attention but saw that they are playing at Sassuolo's stadium for the Europa League

Every away game in every football competition everywhere is now officially a tough place to go.

Didn't get a license to play games there, can't remember the reason why. Their current ground is a bit run down, but they bought it over the summer and are planning on redeveloping it, which is a shame, as it's cracking as it is.

Looks as though Arsenal are playing a pretty weak lineup tonight vs. Cologne.  Hope they get beat
Ospina, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Monreal, Holding, Walcott, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Iwobi, Sanchez, Giroud.

Definite potential for some lulz.

If they treat this like the league cup, they won't get out the group

If they are playing such a weak team against a pretty good Cologne team then it looks as though they don't give a shite about the Europa league

Arsenal kick off delayed by an hour due to safety reasons . I'm guessing 20000 cologne fans might be an issue

The problem isn't that 20,000 have travelled, it's that all of them have tried to get into a 3,000-capacity away end! God loves a trier, to be fair.

ETA: The Europa League is full of nut job fans. Every single one of them are off their head.

It's such an easy journey cologne-aachen , Eurostar to London.

You would have thought they may have been better prepared

There's meant to be thousands of them dotted around the Arsenal sections as the tickets were on open sale and they apparently bought loads of them.

Crazy. Similar thing happened when Napoli came to Anfield in 2010. Italians getting turned away at the turnstiles and then kicking off. Those in the home section all congregated together and the stewards and police formed a line to segregate them.

Same happened (albeit on a much smaller scale) when Celtic won the league at Firhill a couple of years ago.
