... the Coldstream v Tweedmouth tie now goes ahead a week later than previously indicated, on Saturday 19th August - and according to a list of "Contingencies for cup-ties involving clubs which groundshare" on p11, the same will apply to Heriot-Watt University v Tynecastle, again going ahead a week later on Saturday 19th August.

Burntisland Shipyard v Selkirk will be cancelled as Burntisland were drawn to play in Scottish Cup R1 which is also August 12th.

WW 3-3 Leith aet

WW win 4-3 pens.

A real get out of jail free card for ww today. 3-0 up and cruising against 10 men Leith fight back to force extra time and pens.

Good game for any neutrals

11 first team players missing ... 10 of yesterday's squad of 16 aged 20 and under ... Gordon goes off injured after half an hour leaving 4 of the back 5 aged 18 and under ... amazing effort from the youngsters :)

Going by interview I think he agreed :)

The very young age of the team.

Well done to the 17 year old keeper for saving 2 pens and young lads for having the bottle to steady themselves from a crazy last 10 minutes and see it through.

Gala Fairydean Rovers 5-7 Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale (aet)

HT - 1-3 ... (1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 1-3)
FT - 5-5 ... (1-4, 2-4, 2-5, 3-5, 4-5, 5-5)
HT in ET - 5-6
FT in ET - 5-7

Took in this game but it's all a bit of a blur. Suffice to say Gala were the better team for the first 30mins and last 30mins, which they played with 10 men, and astonishingly came back from 3 down twice. Conceded right on HT in ET and LTHV eased-it-out. Incredible game to witness, congratulations both (well - defences aside, maybe!).

In last 2 games at Netherdale I've seen 23 goals .

Was at the Gretna v Vale game last night. The Vale struggling in the first half but the better team for a good bit of the second half when Chris Anderson came on and played up front. However, Gretna well worthy of the victory, looking fit and playing some excellent football. 3-0 Gretna.
