Phillips455
Just to Clarify the Europa League 1st Round Draw, teams have being grouped into regional groups. This method is to help prevent issues with travel for the teams involved. As a result, Aberdeen and Motherwell are in the same group and are seeded. They could play 1 of 3 team (2 of which involve teams in the preliminary round). These teams range from Iceland, Faroe Islands, Wales or Northern Ireland. Please note that the team drawn first will be the home team for the 1 legged tie. I have listed the entire group down below. Group 4 Seeded 1 Aberdeen (SCO) 2 Rosenborg (NOR) 3 Motherwell (SCO) Unseeded 4 Breidablik (ISL) 5 NSÍ Runavík (FRO)/Barry Town United (WAL) 6 Glentoran (NIR)/HB Tórshavn (FRO) You can watch the draw here: https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/draws/2021/2001236/ If Aberdeen Makes it through to the next round, then they will be seeded. If Motherwell makes it through, then they will be unseeded and have a high chance of facing Tottenham in the 2nd Round.
charger29
Celtic get another home game. Ferencvaros or Djurgardens.

Phillips455
Great Draw. I can see us winning this if we manage to get some good performances and results during our next few games. Shame that no fans can be allowed in the stadium.

d31
Celtic, Aberdeen and Motherwell should be winning all four of those ties. Is it really too much to ask? haha

These are about as good a draws as the teams could hope for and they need to take advantage. Aberdeen winning twice and Motherwell once would be great for coefficient

G51
Hopefully the large numbers of UK/Ireland teams (14) still left in the competitions means we can get some more draws against Welsh and Irish diddies. UEFA will hopefully regionalise the draws.

LeedsPhil
I'm wondering if UEFA will take into account the UK's list of quarantine countries, and not put us in a pre-draw group with any of those.

Probably not. UEFA have already said that if there is a problem with teams from certain countries playing each other, the match would be held in another country.
Stellaboz
So for example if Sevco get drawn against Basel, they'll play it in Prague? Got it.
Guest DAVIDB69
Who takes priority and it switched if both rangers and Celtic are drawn at home.

One would move to the Tuesday (or even Wednesday as with no crowds there is not so much to worry about)
