Good Scottish bands

The first "Blue"album was superb and two great singles - "Red Light song" and "Little Jody"; they did have a second album "Life in the Navy" released in 1974 and opened that tour at the Caledonian Hotel in Inverness, one off the first gigs I attended.

I forgot all about that second album, as I bought all my music on "musicassettes" at the time, not everything was available in "all formats"

There still hasn't been many good bands altogether though. I don't think I could pick more than five that I'd like to listen to.

I don't think this thread is for you Kev

Loved the Scottish music scene in the early 80s. A great gig somewhere most nights:

Endgames
WIN
Passionate Friends
Bourgie Bourgie
Hipsway

And it goes on.

Walk on by the River by Endgames should have been massive.

Happy days and saw Hipsway last week. Still going.

Hipsway at the Quay sessions a few years back was some performance, top quality

Been listening to Wrest recently as they had “if you like frightened rabbit you’ll love wrest” in their tag line. They’re no frabbit but Human is a good tune.

I had a listen to Wrest. They do sound very much like Frightened Rabbit. I don't really get that overly earnest jock-rock sound. Idlewild did a similar thing but much better than either.
