Club Announcement

After saturdays victory over Vale of Leven , Gartcairn manager Davy Greig intimated to the committee his intention to move on at the end of the current season.

The club would like to thank Davy for the great cup runs of season 2016/17 taking us to the quarter finals of both the Scottish cup and west cup, guaranteeing promotion this year with the chance to win the league still in his hands the aim is to go out on a high by winning the second division.
We also thank Davy and his back room staff for giving us early notice to help us find his successor.

Further announcement will be made on his replacement in due course.

Do you think they will kick out their current incumbent. He’s only been there 5 minutes & no had the chance to bring in his own men since the previous manager allegedly spent all the pennies on shite lol

To our supporters, sorry guys we just fell at the final fence, although gutted today we need to realise what a good season it’s been, we’ve got promotion and been pipped by a point for the title, well done the Albert.
Just want to thank our small but growing band of supporters , we go again next season and I hope to see you all there, in fact bring a friend.

Well done to everyone at Gartcairn must be hurting after yesterdays result.

Just like to say that you guys have been a credit to your club over the season in the face of some unwarranted abuse on this site.

Our battles this year have been well fought and close run but at the end of each one we shook hands and had a cup of tea.

Look forward to renewing our battles next season in the new league set up.

Gartcairn take the next step on our journey by appointing local boy Jamie McKenzie as manager for the coming season.

Jamie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge both from the league above and with local talent.

Jamie’s ambitious plans match our own and we look forward to working with him.

The Gartcairn committee would also like to thank Forth Juniors for allowing permission to speak to their manager and wish them the best in there final games of the season.

Never ones to shy away from things  attached highlights from Saturdays match vs Johnstone Burgh

How shite were they goals to give away. What’s the defender doing for their 1st goal just clear your lines and im sorry but you’d be better off with a jumper in goal than that keeper. Wee striker just passing the ball through his body
