The sending off was never ever a red, the young lad slid in and was late but it looked worse than what it was and their number 11 should have been sent off previous for a kick on a Tayport player which resulted in the lad having to go off. He also repeatedly spoke back to the ref to no avail..... 

 

Glenrothes huffed and puffed and were a little dangerous at set pieces but the worst decision I have seen in a long time came deep into stoppage time where the Tayport player got the ball in the box, there was then a tangle of legs and the guy fell.... to everyone's disbelief the ref pointed to the spot. I could even see the Glenrothes bench laughing so it tells you the decision was wrong. This again shows the lack of quality refs in the area and it's ruining games for both teams.

 

All in all, Tayport derserved all 3 points but Glenrothes will be the happier team as they got away with a point.

Sorry Curly, i was at the game on Saturday and i find that you are very one sided with your comments. There was very little reckless challenges from Tayport bar the late tackle which resulted in the sending off for Tayport (in my opinion i thought a yellow was fair) I watched Glenrothes 10 fly into tackles and a little guy with anger issues (number 6 i think) and as for their number 11 (who was dangerous) how he never seen a red for silly tackles and talking consistently back to the ref i do not know.

This game should have been out of sight by half time and to say that Tayport were unsporting i find amusing a during the game a foul was given while Tayport were in control of the ball and they actually gave the ball back to Glenrothes......

 

Curly..... i have to say le smudge is bang on here and you have got this one quite wrong and maybe you did have too many britney spiers or shagger landy's so behave this Saturday chief :-)

Blackburn started quickly and could have been three up inside 15 mins with the Hibs keeper pulling off some great stops. He stopped a couple of more efforts before he blocked a Brian Ross shot which fell to Richie Hutton to convert just before HT. Second half Hibs had the bulk of possession and pressed Blackburn back and hit the post with minutes to go but Blackburn held on.

A great 3 points on a heavy surface which had several areas where the ball didnt bounce. The referee was again pretty poor for both sides.

Nice one Casey!! Being exact we scored the winner in the 93rd and final minute....phew...not good for the old blood pressure I have to say. I'm not sure about the ref having us on his coupon as he missed a very early Hoose goal at the start of the match as the ball was clearly over the line and IMO gave Dunbar a very soft penalty which brought them back into the match, although he did send off a Dunbar player for a double yellow. 

A very entertaining match if you were a neutral, gutting for Dunbar fans and delight for the Hoose fans!  I'm sure JC will read your comments also......look forward to seeing you at Park View in 2 weeks....go the Hoose!!
