That's the last obstacle to England winning the World Cup out of the way then. Victory in 2022 is now guaranteed. 

They haven't introduced a winter break anyway? They've just spread-out 1 EPL matchday over 2 weekends. Even if the midweeks either side are free (which presumably isn't guaranteed due to CL/EL and cup-ties) it's hardly going to be noticed. Is there anything stopping clubs jetting-off for glamour friendlies, either?

What they have done is scrap FA Cup replays in yet another round, and shafted the Last 16 into midweek, contributing further to the decline of this once-great tournament.
