Dindeleux
Holy f**k it does not look good for those who I assume will be stuck inside. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-40269625 -
ajwffc
According to reports on the radio that there are a number of people still inside the building on the upper floors.
dundeefc1783
According to reports on the radio that there are a number of people still inside the building on the upper floors. If that's true then there will be a number of fatalities I would think.
ajwffc
If that's true then there will be a number of fatalities I would think. Unluckily looks that way with the fire burning heavily through the tower
dundeefc1783
Live news really is shite. Sky news reporter states eyewitness saw emergency services arrive at the scene. No fucking shit Sherlock considering there is about 40 fire appliances at the scene
ajwffc
It is being reported on 5live (by someone who stays in a nearby tower). That the fire brigade have been ordered to move away from the building as bits of it are starting to fall off.
Lofarl
Got to think the fire brigade will let that just burn out. Fears of it collapsing and the low chance of finding anyone alive in that.
dundeefc1783
News saying police are telling people still in building to cover face with wet cloth and get out. There is no danger anyone still in there is still allve.
ICTJohnboy
How long will it take Isis to claim responsibility?
ajwffc
Also according to 5live (from a post on Facebook or a blog from one of the resident associations) that in the case of a fire You were to stay inside your flat. https://grenfellactiongroup.wordpress.com/2016/11/20/kctmo-playing-with-fire/amp/
ajwffc
How long will it take Isis to claim responsibility? A number of people are blaming it on them
ICTJohnboy
This wet cloth advice is sounding very futile.
Dee Man
Reports of the building having previous electrical wiring issues. Also claims from rescuers that were inside the building that there were no fire alarms going off. Horrific.
fanny paddery
The fact that this topic is currently hot (accompanied by a wee fire emoji) seems a tad insensitive!
ajwffc
Looking at the building on the news the death toll will be high
BradHorse
I thought all those high rise flats were designed specifically to stop fire spreading? As in, if there was a fire in one of the flats it would be contained in that flat alone. Don't know the first thing about it but I was always under that impression for some reason.
Dee Man
The local authority recently completed refurbishing the block. Can't help but think that further down the line there will be corporate manslaughter charges brought if it turns out to be faulty wiring. In other news my missus is worried about the amount of cats that will be in the building. Fucking hell.

Depends on the age and design of the building.
ICTJohnboy
The building will surely collapse.
