Bearing in mind they were at the forefront of starting the LL process as they thought it was going to be a breeze into the SFL. Any new signings ?? We may even have a fan favourite returning! Most of the present squad staying with only a couple leaving(retiring). As for winning the league I am sure they will be up challenging with EK and Shire! If you get off at Waverley station you can get a number 27 bus from up the mound or Hanover Street which runs past AP (get off at the stop opposite Morrisons supermarket). Two and a half mile walk from Haymarket. No direct buses, so either walk to West End Princes St and get a 47 (Granton) and get off at Crewe Toll.Or get off train at Waverley and walk to Mound and jump on a 27 (Silverknowes) to the ground. jinky Posted August 28, 2017 Share Posted August 28, 2017 Was at the game on Friday night against CCs...first observation was the height of the Spartans team...grow bags entered my mind?! Anyway that aside,Spartans play was impressive and they have recruited well with plenty of quality in their team...may have been a different outcome if McFarland hadn't been sent off. Colts didn't have many chances in the first half but their No8 was causing lots of problems especially with positions he was finding in the Spartans box...Spartans coaching staff saw these runs but players were slow to pick up on it.
