Lots of new signings who will probably be announced when confirmed. This is usually after the 30th June. We may even have a fan favourite returning!

Most of the present squad staying with only a couple leaving(retiring).

As for winning the league I am sure they will be up challenging with EK and Shire!

Bejesus, surely the time is right for Grimbo to terrorise League Two grounds on a bi-monthly basis. What a time to be alive!  :D

Will Spartans gain promotion this year ? Bearing in mind they were at the forefront of starting the LL process as they thought it was going to be a breeze into the SFL.

Any new signings ??

Canny be can it

How far is ainslie park from haymarket train station? Are there any busses/trains that go directly to the ground?

If you get off at Waverley station you can get a number 27 bus from up the mound or Hanover Street which runs past AP (get off at the stop opposite Morrisons supermarket).

Two and a half mile walk from Haymarket. No direct buses, so either walk to West End Princes St and get a 47 (Granton) and get off at Crewe Toll.

Or get off train at Waverley and walk to Mound and jump on a 27 (Silverknowes) to the ground. See this map.

I've walked it from waverley a couple of times frequenting a couple of Stockbridge pubs en route. It's a good walk on a decent day

Was at the game on Friday night against CCs...first observation was the height of the Spartans team...grow bags entered my mind?!

Anyway that aside,Spartans play was impressive and they have recruited well with plenty of quality in their team...may have been a different outcome if McFarland hadn't been sent off.

Colts didn't have many chances in the first half but their No8 was causing lots of problems especially with positions he was finding in the Spartans box...Spartans coaching staff saw these runs but players were slow to pick up on it.

Second half was all about holding onto their slim lead and in the end they were a bit unlucky to concede but maybe a draw was fair result.

Spartans vs Linfield should be an interesting game.

4 buses and counting from Belfast will be hitting Ainslie Park.

I'd imagine international weekend a bumper crowd doon Pilton way.

Unique match you wouldn't get in junior fitba ;)
