Junior football, what is the future?

There won't be a WOSL discussion until either the SJFA drop the 'in at tier 6' line - if clubs are being told they are in already they'd see no point to a WOSL. Also if the PWG ends in a stalemate & is confirmed publicly (which seems likely based on the recent EOS memo thats been posted)

The SJFA also needs to drop its attempt at having TWO parallel "pyramid feeder" leagues in the East, both south of the Tay Bridge.

I'm not sure every club in the west (and east) is swallowing the line that it's a "done deal" anymore, when it clearly isn't the case. Time is running out for next season.

The West Region management committee are scheduled to meet tomorrow night to discuss the pyramid and the new discipline procedure.

So they should know the current factual position.

Have similar Mgmt Meetings been scheduled for the East (and North) Regions ?

And is it likely that there will be an announcement about the outcome, or does any decision need SJFA ratification ?

I wouldn’t imagine the North Region will be involved. The Highland League is a closed shop!

Apparently this has been denied.  If licensed Banks O'Dee (re)applied to join,  it appears that the  HFL would be required to admit them.  Also, if the number of HFL clubs reaches 20, the league will split into 2 divisions.

This would not apply to North Caledonian club Golspie, who are also licensed, as they don't have floodlights which are compulsory for HFL membership.

I'm not sure that any "decision" will need to be reached at the meeting, never mind one being announced.

aye with the recent EOS memo its evident the process is a fair bit away from completion or a decision. I'd guess the meeting in question will be of a preliminary nature regarding the topic(s) at hand.

Any rule changes also will need to be agreed by an AGM (or EGM) in each of the Regions, and at an SJFA AGM (or EGM).

It’s a lot further on than  preliminary...
if thats the case why would the EOS put out a memo to it's members stating the PWG had hit a stalemate? Keep in mind PWG meetings started in September or October & things seems not to have moved much at all. With this is mind I fail to see how things could be close to completion at all.
