Sjfa is sacrosanct is the phrase Mr Ronney used.

Does that mean the WRJFA, ERJFA and NRJFA are also sacrosanct?

Or can they be ditched?

Mr Ronney is not very clear on this issue. Can anyone help please.

That's why I referred earlier to the constitutional changes which would be required for Gordon Ronney's plan to succeed.
How the LL can agree to this plan without GR already having the mandate of these constitutional changes agreed is a question that probably has to be asked tonight, and I'm certain it will.

The discussion/explanation will probably be something like this, - accept the changes required or accept the fact that the SJFA will fall by the wayside. Keep the West clubs together and the SJFA can survive. Lose the West clubs and it won't.

And finally the veil slips fully off

As well as the Donald Dewar Centre, Drumchapel United also have a ground at Halgreen Avenue that is already enclosed and with a bit of ground around it that would allow extension to facilitate changing and spectators. I spent some time working with an amateur team about 11 years ago and we played them at Halgreen in a Cup tie.

Just had a look of Google maps, that pitch has a lot of room around it for development.  Could be turned into a nice little home ground.

but Girvan have been doing that for more than 15 years.

Its a new world, with new setups so why should they be allowed to continue having their cake and eating it. Senior is the only way ahead, if they choose to remain in the rump West with the kool-aid drinkers then they shouldnt be anywhere near the real Scottish Cup.

It is not theirs though. Can't see too many councils producing money for unneccessary infrastructure projects in this climate.

Edit: They were granted permission to tart it up but not alot seems to have happened as yet.

It is their primary home ground for the first team though.

SJFA is done.
People are clearly only interested in their own position instead of the good of the game.

Not sure that’s true, the SJFA will exist as long as clubs want to stay Junior (see West Lothian) but it’ll be much weaker after the summer. The meeting will be interesting as the LL seem to hold all the cards and the WRJFA appear to me to be going with a list of demands. The big issue is the LL said recently they don’t want any SJFA involvement and they’ve now almost certainly got enough clubs willing to join their WOSFL so it’s going to take some serious sweet talking from the WRJFA and probably some major compromise to get their idea backed or the LL can just start their league.

Maybe their plan is to share somewhere whilst developing this place upto basic standard, or their 3g cage.

Q1 I'm not proposing anything. The LL is proposing that.
Q2 Wave them goodbye and wish them well for their future.

Thanks for the response.

I think the clear interpretation must therefore be that the WRJFA will remain effective. This in my view does not bode well for the future.

So this is about the sjfa surviving then? This isnt about what's best for wrsjfa clubs who want to join and the clubs already playing in the pyramid? This us about people keeping their jobs in an sjfa that wants to further its interests within the pyramid?

This confirms my fears from day one, if true, and hopefully the LL go with their own league. This means that those clubs who want to join apply and those that dont want to be a pyramid team and may resent being made to (which may cause issues later down the line) stay junior.

Also how can the sjfa allow the wrsjfa to speak on behalf of the ersjfa clubs and nrsjfa clubs who are equal members of the association, whilst using the national trophy as a bargaining tool?

Beenze, any answers to my post above from your point of view?
