I guess after 1 April we'll be down to two things to discuss as there will either be confirmation the LL are setting up a WOSFL or confirmation the WRJFA are becoming the WOSFL .

Or both?

Hello players and committee, we're going straight into a game every 3 days for the forseeable, mind and tell the family nae chance of a holiday or getting away when it's all over, need to play fitba.

There are only  8 games left in the SPFL Premiership , then have a  break before starting  2021-22 season , which would obviously have to be a shortened format .

Instead of 4 games a week we now want 7 games in 11 days.....this is getting silly now.

There is more to life than football at part time level. If the players were getting 100k a week then yes but they have lives and jobs.

The season is over, as is any chance of reprising it at this point, which is out if everyone's control. Trying to squeeze so many games in is lunacy.

Anyway rant over emoji85.png please stay safe everyone and support one another.

The Bellshill Committee applied without any supporter consultation per earlier post. Other Clubs will be going back to supporters after the meeting on 23rd to let Members/Shareholders decide.

The committee will make up the majority of the support and will know all the others.

Yeah I'm not surprised if their has been 20 applied. Just surprised that the Clubs have not announced it especially with everything going on and no football. Would be a good way to keep their fans informed. Has Glasgow Uni definitely applied then? Any other Ammy teams showed an interest?

Like I said during the moves to the EoSFL plenty of clubs kept things close to their chest. This is no different. Even now people say Luncarty and Newburgh have applied to the EoSFL this year, but they haven't done so publicly.

No idea if Glasgow University will end up applying. Personally, just based on my opinion they won't. Not right now at any rate.

You're right mate, in the grand scheme of things this is pretty unimportant but people are bored.  They can't really go out, the news is pretty depressing right now and as football fans there's only really 3 things to discuss at the moment.  How do we end this season? When will my club go bust with no income? and What's going on with the WOSFL and WRJFA pyramid? I guess after 1 April we'll be down to two things to discuss as there will either be confirmation the LL are setting up a WOSFL or confirmation the WRJFA are becoming the WOSFL .

Genuine question. What overheads, apart from player’s wages will Junior clubs have during this time?

Right now, insurance for parks and players, think they will be two separate

ground payments, they might own their park but is it fully paid up, not sure

Above is not just for junior teams but also senior ones as well

Surely these sort of payments will be suspended just now, in the current climate?

Think this season should just be scrapped now with everything that’s going on. Start up the new West of Scotland League and everybody has a season knowing what’s at stake for them at the end of it rather than changing something that will in 3 months be all changed again . Everybody then knows the score rather pile on the pressure for maybe  trying to force a season to be finished in 5 or 6 weeks maybe even shorter . It’s during this time you do your pitch maintenance and players etc go on holiday leaves no time to turn things round .
