Burnie_man
Not only shite proverbial diarrhoeaTJ annual salary is around the £33-35k mark these days. The ERJFA Secretary was around the £7k mark about 5 years ago, but the members were always told the WRJFA Secty receives considerably more than that, 5 figures. Nobody involved with the EoS receives anything like that, probably less than four figures for any position. They really are voluntary.
Inanimate Carbon Rod
Fkin hypocrites: "rats jumping ship" wailed that Junior Fitba character on Twitter... now they're doing exactly that... Aye they’re keeping that bit quiet. But kinda shows they arent even considering enforcing their own ‘rules’. Duplicitous empire preserving pish from the blazers.
Salvo Montalbano
Find it interesting that the west is getting shot down here, what chance did the sjfa actually have if this response is anything to go by? They were told that the West could join en masse last season and they chose not to do that. They had essentially the same message this season and chose not to do that. Now the WoSL has asked for applications, suddenly the thing they were told they should do twice in the last two years but they said wouldn't/shouldn't happen... is their solution to the issue. Can't you see why people might be a little suspicious at the sudden change of heart?

cmontheloknow
You're invited to stay at someone's house. You get there and demand the owner's bedroom. Sorry mate, you're in spare room. By some miracle the invite is repeated later. Same scenario, this time a more hostile host after you demand the main bedroom and you're offered the couch. A year on you chap the door and are given the address of a B&B.

And that's it - we've been told for at least a couple of years now that pyramid entry was imminent only for some excuse to be confected as to why it's not happening this season..."one in, all in/done deal/etc..." That's the only thing that's held back the tide up until now. There's a limit to how often someone can piss down your back and tell you convincingly it's only the rain. Even you don't believe this stuff any more - and it shows! The many good people who have supported Junior clubs in all sorts of ways over the years aren't daft. They see what has happened and how they and the clubs have been mis-lead. They won't be sticking around any longer. They and their clubs will be gone elsewhere come April, let alone next season. Wake up and smell the coffee. There's no need to cut yourself off from the clubs you love. Follow them elsewhere. Enjoy!
surely not!
The WRJFA aren't going independent, they will remain an SJFA league, and want to run their own discipline (fines?) and fixtures, same management committee. Therefore, they are going against SJFA members by going rogue and trying to get in by themselves. That’s not even the plan. The west super league getting in and being part of the pyramid is the plan. The rest remain junior. The winner takes part in the play off system for the LL, the bottom 2/3 return to the juniors and are no longer SFA member clubs. In an extreme example, Albion rovers are relegated to LL. then relegated to tier 6 west super league then get relegated again. They then have to resign from SFA membership to become a Junior team so they can enter the West region premiership.

Answer - Because we just found out that we don't like them. Why don't you like them? Answer - Because we've been told not to like them. Because after things broke down with the PWG the response from member clubs of the West Region was to go to the LL & EoS and ask them how to enter the pyramid with the demise of the PWG. So the LL & EoS went about doing that, and now have interest from members of the WJFA and others. And its the others they also have to cater to, its no longer just about the Juniors. Its about anyone in the West of Scotland that wants to join the pyramid.

surely not!
Every team that applies will likely release a statement so teams will know how many teams in the league. If 30 have declared an interest then will get 16 teams quite easily. Current expressions of interest sits closer to 40. With all but one of super league included - obviously no commitment to join league but due diligence from almost all committees of top division clubs

Burnie_man
Maybe Beenze can advise, as well as clarifying above, how they would accommodate non WRJFA clubs in their cunning plan.
