I said it was a joke about 2 posts after that. You'd have seen that if you'd bothered to scroll down before you mashed the keyboard in a rage.

I’d already noticed that but it was evident when you didn’t mock the Juniors etc that your derogatory comment was as transparent as always ! No one was in a rage , we’re simply tired of your continual put down of the South when I’d assume you’ve never ever played against or even seen any of its sides ?

Any non league set up that sanctions a 20 team league needs head examined imagine a junior association came up with that nonsense it would be rightly shot down in flames.

On the south league let's face it its an amateur league i've a couple of relatives who play in the league and openly agree with that nothing wrong with it not sure why anyone would be so defensive about that.

So you’ve just made this account up on Wednesday to apparently make several negative comments and haven’t been too popular so far with your opinions I see !

Who are your amateur level relatives currently slumming it in the South and strangely people who work hard at these teams quite rightly feel proud of their respective Clubs despite invisible posters frequently knocking their efforts !

Because the other 7 or 8 accounts he's had over the past month or two have all been binned.

And the funniest thing is he thinks we don't know it's him again. [emoji23]

It only takes me one sentence now to be able to work out it's a new traffordab ID. One big advantage of having a U20 team is that it can provide extra cover for a first team squad that has limited numbers. Think that's a big part of the attraction and as with using floodlights to clear fixture backlogs the surprising thing is more that junior football wasn't doing it in recent decades.

Cue another red dot from the pharaoh nutter:

Another reincarnation and more negativity. Suggest that you do something positive like downloading the Futbology App and for £6.00 a year you can log every Junior match you have been to since you were a wean. Should give you hours of satisfaction and nostalgia.  It is giving me huge entertainment during lockdown with more than 1,300 matches to log around the world.

Interesting quote I found.

Maybe it wont get universal support whenever voted on.

The reality of the situation is that's last year was probably the final time it ever will be won by a junior club.

With all of the strength of the East Region bar a few clubs on Tayside long gone and the North having last won it in the 1950s, unless the likes of  Lochee United, Broughty or maybe Carnoustie pull it off it'll consistently be won by senior clubs from the old West Region from now on.

A clear resolution of Tayside's status will probably be next year's big pyramid issue now the west is fixed. If their final destination is the EoS, there may not be any credible non-WoS contenders for much longer. Different story if a Midland League emerges as that could use the WoS approach on keeping SJFA membership.

Covid19 saved you from Brechin City blowing the shysters plan wide open.

No way were Brechin ever going to play in the Highland League without a fight.

Get the Dundee clubs in the Lowland Region NOW.

Its more appropriate that the remaining Junior bastions of Tayside and the North fit under the Highland League than make the pyramid even more lopsided by going South.

f**k off B, i supported the setting up of the WoSFL.

My problem with you and the Bigot was the shafting of the 44 ex Junior clubs in the conference.

No other way of saying it.

You and the Bigot told lies.

Dont think the new wosfl teams should have membership/be allowed to play in Junior cup look at what the cup is called?.Also the reason it passed a vote was because the whole of the west region juniors at the time were allowed to vote on it.It should have been up to the teams that were remaining it the juniors to vote or otherwise allow them to play in it not themselves.if that had been the case they would not have got to participate as turkeys dont bote for xmas .

Where is the quote from?

I recognise that gradient as being from a Team Expert website: https://www.tayportfc.org/

The Season That Never Was
Scottish Junior Cup's 3rd visit to The Canniepairt
Scottish Junior Cup's 3rd visit to The Canniepairt

The East Region's decision to declare the season null and void effectively means that the season will not exist, and consequently season 2019/20 has been expunged from the records.

The season that never was, however, will be remembered as the season which prompted the dismembering of the Junior game as well as the season which ushered in CV 19 pandemic.

Following last year's exodus of East Region Junior FA clubs to join the Seniors in the shape of the East of Scotland Football League and thus gain access to the Scottish Football Pyramid, another host of East Region clubs has followed that path.

The recent decision of the West Region Juniors to abandon the Junior FA  en masse, and to also join the pyramid through the formation of the West of Scotland Football League means that the Scottish Junior FA is left with around 30 clubs in the East Region and a similar  number in the North Region, the loss of around 60% of its membership. A critical blow to the Junior game, but no real surprise.

With the Lothians area and the Tayside area each likely to have  around 15  clubs, it's likely Tayport will play next season - whenever it is likely to start - in a single Tayside division.

The pandemic lockdown saw the 2019-2020 Macron Scottish Junior Cup competition abruptly suspended with two semi-finalists known and another two, one of which was Broughty Athletic, yet to be decided. With the other five clubs now to be playing in the Senior football pyramid, it's something of a bizarre situation.

A number of Junior clubs who made the move to Senior football intend to renew their membership of the Scottish Junior FA for next season for the sole reason of being able to compete for the Scottish Junior Cup. That being the case, there's the very real chance of a Senior club lifting the Scottish Junior Cup. The words wanting to have your cake and eat it, spring to mind!

All For Nothing?

With ten league games and at least one cup tie to go, the current season was brought to a sudden end by the Coronavirus and subsequently declared null and void. Consequently the 2019/2020 season is effectively expunged from the record books. The knock-on effect is that the achievements of the team and the players will count for nothing, and the stats consigned to the virtual litterbin.

What are the positives?  One could argue that record defeats such as the 7-3 humping by North End and the 6-0 defeat at Broughty can now be erased from history.  Ryan Suttie and Kris Rollo have seen their career-wise yellow card tallies, each reduced by seven

Another positive is that the score in Scottish Cup results between Tayport and Auchinleck still stands at 2-1 in our favour!

Auchinleck could also feature in the negatives. After a season of some disappointing results, a brave, battling performance in the 5th round tie in Ayrshire in January, we came within a few minutes of earning a replay at Tayport. Another negative is the fact that Dayle Robertson's amazing 28 goals in only 19 starts and 2  sub. appearances will be remembered by the historians but probably not the statisticians.
