BMan
So given there are almost certainly some undeclared applicants (it's hard to believe that Hurlford and St Roch's won't apply, for example) and there are only 7 Ayrshire and 7 Central clubs left, it's difficult to see how a viable rump WRSJFA or old school Ayrshire and Central setup could emerge at this point.Unless reality hits, Carluke, Lanark, Lesmahagow and Thorniewood could hook up with the remaining West Lothian Juniors, none of whom have applied to the EoS.

BMan
Looking in my crystal ball I would say that we are on firmly on course for 67 clubs in the 2020/21 WoSFL: Our 63 WRJFA clubs plus - Drumchapel United (Central Scottish Amateur League Premier Division) - Glasgow University (Caledonian League Premier Division) - Bonnyton Thistle (South of Scotland League) - Newton Stewart (South of Scotland League) There again I could be completely off the mark!I think the only SoS to have an application in are Bonnyton.

There have already been "positive" discussions with the SFA/HFL. It might 'encourage' the North Juniors to do likewise ? Sitting alongside the NCL (different region). Newton Stewart to East Kilbride - 1 h 49 min (76.5 mi) via A77 Newton Stewart to Moffat - 1 h 31 min (68.9 mi) via A75 and A701 - If no tractors! Newton Stewart can offer a football hub in their part of Dumfries and Galloway. On the other hand the info may be a red herring.

During the Kilwinning Q&A there was mention of the number of SOSFL clubs. I wasn't paying close attention so can't recall if the number was in relation to notes of interest or actual applications.

cmontheloknow
They & the council have done wonders with the ground as well. It was just a public park and now fully enclosed / 3g / floodlights with a wee bit of cover too. It's true that they can access Ayrshire pretty quickly, but they would lose games at Creetown, Wigtown , Stranraer, Kirkcudbright etc, all within around 25 miles. Just cant see it. Even Girvan, the nearest West club to them is 30 miles away, and thats not a great road.
