You cant simply become a member of the Fife FA just because you want to be, its restricted to SFA license holders only.

Understood but I presume that's effectively a choice by the Fife Fa. They could in theory say they would accept any club in the senior league with out an sfa licence from the Fife area if wanted. Same as is proposed here with the sjfa.

And that agreement is a compromise! The WR wanted legal action and to run the show from tier 7 down. That is not happening as they have compromised!

That isn't happening because it was fantasy land. It astounds me how much bull people are prepared to believe.  Legal action? Seriously

Initially the LL through a committee and later spun off as its own league with its own office holders is my understanding.

The WoSFL will be run the same way as the EoS and SOS league's is my understanding

It's the LL who appear to have compromised as it seems they are now going to allow all the whole WRSJFA set up to transfer en masse into the pyramid and although they will run the leagues teams will still be members of the SJFA if they wish and take part in the junior cup.

This is completely different to the original WOSFL plan which saw teams applying to the new league and leaving the SJFA to move to the pyramid.

As far as I'm aware no compromise exists. Only agreement.

There was no need for compromise or agreement. The new completely independent WoSFL was happening, the numbers and interest was there.

Or could it be the WRJA have stated they won't stand in anyone's way? This compromise nonsense is just that.

While I might not believe, plenty do/did. It is called confirmation bias. They wanted to believe the LL was being out in its place. The WR sent clubs official information along those lines.

and the LL will be allowing non juniors to join so it wont/cant be a straight transfer of the Junior West league in so its not a LL compromise.

So will these clubs join a WoSFL still as members of the SJFA and wanting to compete in the Junior Cup? That was never on the table a few days ago, it was a case of join or remain Junior, but if you do join you need to leave the SJFA behind. Just like the new EoS clubs did, a clean break, fresh start, no baggage.

It is a compromise because the original plan was for only teams that applied to gain access to the WOS and they would have to leave the SJFA to do so. Now all teams from the juniors will move and they won't have to leave.

Surely agreeing to amend your plans to accept some of the demands of the WRSJFA is the definition of a compromise.

In listening to the Voice of the Juniors podcast they mentioned there were something like 120+ at the meeting on Tuesday. Which was a meeting that had no known restrictions on numbers who could attend.

Anyone want to guess a ballpark figure for Thursday when it was one rep per club?

No one ever stated (with perhaps the exception of Gordon Ronney) that club's had to give up membership to other associations.

Was it not two from President / Vice President / Secretary on Tuesday? Or have i imagined that (entirely possible!)?

The Tuesday one the WR were asking for two officials to be there. I see it was portrayed in Largs local paper as the West Region allowing more to attend but the WoSL restricting numbers. Also the WR were going round the clubs explaining things but the LL weren't bothering.
