Is the SFA AGM even in June this year? Seem to re-call it being earlier than usual due to Euro 2020 starting on the 12th.

A date hasn't been set but it is likely to be towards the end of May due to the Euros.

It's not a case of you can't - it's a case of them saying their signed statement overrides the LL one when they put it to the SFA.....and as well ALL know, it is them that has the final say at their AGM in June. The LL, EoSL, SoSL have no say in the matter.

You're simply wrong about this, sorry!

It is more than collecting notes of interest. This is signing up to saying we back the West Region and NOT the other proposal. That's why they want two top level officials from each club at the meeting.

Trying to be objective here but what chairman or secretary in their right mind would sign up to back the West Region when they haven't even heard the other Proposal and it would be the same if it was the LL meeting first then the West region meeting after.
Notes of interest are exactly what they are, your interested and having it noted and this should lead you to make constructive decisions after you have heard both sides of the different proposals.

That would be one of the fairest ways to do it. The dumfries teams etc would slot well in with that bottom lot, i believe this is one of the proposals....

How do you get people positioned right for year 2? Seeded conferences are the quickest way to get everyone to their level.

I have to disagree with you.

We already know who the strongest teams are because the proposal is to use their League positions to determine their seeding.

It's a wasted year to get everyone to their level, we already know their level.

The non Junior teams can be slotted in appropriately.

Basically they will cherry pick who they want from the juniors and place them where ever they want to, no appeals or anything. Is there a way to get a better position? Perhaps promises already made? who knows.

Cherry pick ??

Twaddle.

Well, you don't know that. I haven't followed the Darvel situation all too closely, but hasn't one of the things that have been said about them is that they've reinfored their squad this year from the Amateurs? They'd be in the Premiership next year if things go uninterrupted.

Lower league sides that can largely meet the criteria for licencing will see it as an opportunity to spend on their squads, while other clubs are spending on their facilities.

As I've said any club official Ive spoken to has said of course they will back whatever proposal the WRJFA come up with (show loyalty if you want to put it like that) at the meeting on Tuesday but they will also confirm their note of interest with the LL at Thursdays meeting until this all comes to a conclusion.

Some people try to paint some of the Junior club officials as old duffers stuck in the past (and some are) but theyre not as stupid as some would believe,

Why is no one talking about this "partial" PWG meeting?

What are the benefits to the LL and EOS of attending this meeting? Are they happy to agree some sort of compromise?

What do the WRSJFA hope will be achieved?

Why is it on the same day as the LL meeting with the West Region clubs?

What on earth is a partial PWG meeting?

I've thought for the last few months that the West Region would have something up there sleeves. Is this it?

Is there any chance that the SPFL or SFA could put the kybosh on the LL plan?

What's the maximum amount of questions you can ask in one post on P n B?

We may know the level of the WSJFA clubs, but not of the non-Junior (or indeed any West Lothian Junior) clubs. Who decides what is the "appropriate" level?

Well maybe you should stop and ask yourself why.

Out of curiosity should Clydebank and Kilwinning be able to attend the West Region meeting on Tuesday night although both clubs are members of The Sjfa but have both indicated that they are both leaving.

Well there has been a poster in here saying some SoS clubs have put in a note of interest for the WoSFL. So they might well be popping along on Thursday.

Lochar Thistle and Heston Rovers are currently the only two Dumfries based teams and whilst the latter has been mentioned ( not by the Club ) they ground share Palmerston with Queen of the South and therefore don’t have first option on fixtures ! It’ll be interesting to see if any of the South sides are genuinely interested !

As it is a General Meeting they may incur a £50 if they DON'T attend.

They don't need first option on fixtures. Its no different than the arrangement they have just now. Or any other team that groundshares. Look at BSC Glasgow, Spartans and East Stirlingshire in the Lowland League.
