What makes you think they should get straight in at that level? emoji6.png

Theres a sign going up saying fauldhouse twinned with tallinn and brannans butchers are now selling verivorst and other Estonian delights

Lovely place Tallinn, would be an awesome away day, although the jukebox in the Depeche Mode theme bar gets a bit repetitive.

The good thing about Luncarty's situation is that the line of latitude can easily be moved north of their ground without it affecting the status any Dundee club. Or there could be a trade deal with Luncarty going south the and Tayport going north. [emoji854]
No. The Aberdeen teams should be going to Dundee not Inverness and beyond.
The most important word in your reply is "apparently"
As I said we are not tied up in grades. We will take what time we have to make sure we have the maximum amount of information available to us before we make any decision.

Surely to end all the confusion of if the wos didnt want fauldhouse or any other west Lothian teams it would state the areas eligible to apply make things crystal clear

I'm sure they will. But they've already said about geographical integrity so you can  e assured you would be rejected from wosfl

Genuinely concerned of what we might see in response to that from you know who. Think that strongly suggests an expression of interest will be winging its way to the LL chairman as it has been written in a leading way that is designed to prompt positive responses.

Might have been covered, is applications open for 1 league of 16? If more than that, as there now looks to be heading that way, how is it decided who gets entry?

From the statement yesterday they were wanting to gauge numbers from the expressions of interest, so seriously doubt it will be capped at 16.

Presumably your club voted at the SJFA AGM in 2018 to join the pyramid? There's only one guaranteed route to the pyramid and that's the EOS - or do you think the SJFA/East Region can still join the pyramid intact?

I would doubt there is a limit on applications - we heard that kind of thing during the exodus to the EOS but it was dealt with using conferences.

As for Rob Roy - their manager is private on twitter but someone quoted him in reply saying "SJFA hasn't evolved" so no surprise to see that KRR post.

The Building Committee have been in existence for a wee while now. The main stand was purchased and erected way before Talbot had anything to do with the Senor Cup (I do like that phrase) The pitch improvement of a while back took up a huge amount of money when new drainage was added. We have a programme hut that has raised £17,000 plus since it started seven years back, and that's all from fans donations which are then recycled into cash for the Beechwood Regeneration Project. The fans buy into that big style because they can see the continual improvements, new stands, new catering facility, new ladies toilets, and toilets for those less able within the park itself.

As for buying players, the majority of the pot for funding new players, and also extending contracts is from the club's hugely successful scheme where fans, players, management contribute £10 per month for ten months of the year with nothing in return bar a small end of season party. Since it was started in 2004 it has raised over £180,000.

It's like everything the club does, making sure everything's sustainable. We could have gone down the route of others who have vastly overspent, but choose not to, and that's why we played second fiddle to Irvine Meadow for a few seasons in the Super League. It's why, like yourself, I can not see any new WoSFL set up without Talbot in it either.

Only Spanish players can play in the Senor Cup ;)

Has anyone asked if Luncarty want to play in the EOS? Or have we spent ten pages arguing over something that doesn't matter😊

If the dividing line stays as it is then surely Tayport can't join any Tayside feeder to the Highland League. They would have to go kicking and screaming into the EOS.

A few weeks back a poster from Jeanfield Swifts (think anyway) posted on the EoS forum that they were interested.

Yes it absolutely should be IMO. Highland League East and West at tier 6.

No need to change the 'boundary' because the NRJFA and the NCL clubs play in different regions, with no current overlap of location, between their Associations, or the clubs in these two leagues:

* North East region / Moray, Aberdeenshire / city of Aberdeen

* North & West Highland Region / Islands/  city of Inverness

No junior or North Caley clubs would want the extra travel expenditure in this vast area, at tier 6 or below.

If the North Tayside/Dundee/Angus juniors eventually join the pyramid, they could decide to merge with the NR Juniors, or alternatively apply for recognition as a separate league/association, at tier 6. Promotion to the Highland League would depend on the champion clubs (if licensed) having a play-off, or a 3 way  promotion 'round robin' (as the EoSL did last season, which resulted in Bonnyrigg being promoted to the SLL).

The present situation regarding SFA licensed clubs is  NRJFA  1  NCL  1  ERJFA (N/Tayside)  0, giving the clubs in each region, time to develop and evolve within the pyramid.

Fauldhouse are a West Lothian club, and have been since the 1930's, as are Livingston and Pumpherston, as are Blackburn and Linlithgow.  Should there be no demarcation line between regions and allow clubs to move between EoS and WoS as they wish?  Do we have Blackburn in the EoS and Livingston in the WoS?  Should Linlithgow have the opportunity to hop over the the WoS? Can you perhaps understand why this might lead to a few issues? The Tayside clubs would be battering down doors shouting foul and the SFA could renew interest in how this is being conducted, and that wouldn't be good.

Two miles or 20 miles is immaterial,  if there are regional leagues there also has to be a definition of what area the respective leagues cover, otherwise we have chaos and confusion.  The traditional Junior boundaries between Lanarkshire and West Lothian are already accepted boundaries.

Keep it simple.

Tweedmouth are a red herring.

That contains absolutely no answers.

Two miles and twenty miles are materially different.

Tweedmouth are a red herring, but Fauldhouse are a holy and indivisible part of West Lothian, a made-up entity nobody gives two hoots about?

Think this one has run its course.
