So you’re staying with the SJFA then [emoji12]
Spot on......and when Talbot realise that most of their current rivals are heading over and the quality of the west junior league will drop massively they will bow to the inevitable.

As if we will struggle,

Talbot know their priorities. They just don't wash it in public like others

As someone who knows virtually nothing about junior football, which big names got left behind last time?

Whitburn was the biggest although they've fallen on hard times in recent years. Armadale, Bathgate and Fauldhouse would be others that sometimes featured at the superleague sort of level.

Talbot’s priority is Talbot, as it should be. Buffs and Bankies are washing nothing in public, they are being upfront and honourable and leading the way.

Love that you’re making out Clydebank and Kilwinning are underhand and you’re committee are also making contact with the LL whilst putting out statements purporting to be junior loyalists. I know which of the two is underhand.
Fwiw I hope Talbot come along to the pyramid, but it wont stop others one way or another.

SFA/sjfa have had years sort out the game in scotland if they aren't willing to move forward with times then the clubs have to take it into there own hands so the best of luck to both sides .

It always needs to be the clubs that take charge. Anyone who believes differently is dammed to suffer under the actions of some jobs worth who doesn’t care about anything other than their own small kingdom and any short term personal gain.

remember both organizations are owned in full by their members.  If the clubs have energy and organization to make something happen it will. what do they expect the employees to do if they aren’t doing anything themselves.

If Talbot's committee were not in contact with the LL to get a full, frank and fair assesment of their options then they're fucking idiots. Any fan of a junior club that hasn't bothered getting all the relevant information from all parties by now should be demanding to know why.

As Talbot are not ran by morons ICR is quite right to assume they have spoke to the LL. If he has information to confirm this beyond a suspicion then all more power to him.

Rumour mill has one of their officials at the recent LL meeting that preceded today’s announcement.

Apart from Bonnyton and Glasgow Uni is there any other interest in the WoSFL from outwith the juniors? Apart from some LL teams considering putting reserve sides in is there any other youth/amateur clubs ready and keen to join up as well?

Because I want Morton drawn away to Rothesay Brandane in the Scottish Cup ASAP cheers.

About 5 years ago, Third Lanark (now playing in  Division 1A of the Central Scottish Amateur League )  published a mission statement saying they were ambitious, and were looking to join the Juniors, with a long term aim of returning to the Scottish League. Not heard anything since, although I have heard that they are running several youth XI's apparently, as well as an adult XI.

An unlikely amateur applicant.
