Inverkeithing and burnt island weren't juniors so probably not interest in juniors No chance of Burntisland joining the juniors. They have a pedigree which dates back to participation in the Scottish Cup dating in 1929. They also jumped from Fife amateur to the EoS without any intention of going junior. Of more significant interest is how many clubs will be awarded an SFA licence next week, and who are they ? Also what changes will be needed to the Preliminary Rounds of the Scottish Cup ?

They had 2 Preliminary Rounds this year to find 6 spots in the First Round proper. 19 clubs participated in the Preliminary Rounds so there will have to be a rejig if it comes close to the double digit membership increase that people speculate could happen.

Back to the point. For this to be workable, the "Super" leagues would need to play each other either 3 times (27 games), or 4 times (36 games), and presumably the Champions decided by a play-off. The "Premier" leagues would be 3 times (24 games) or 4 times (32 games). It looks absolutely tedious. As gogsy pointed out, local games dont automatically mean bigger crowds, fans want something to aim for, something different. The clubs in the South "Super" will never play Linlithgow, Bo'ness, Camelon, Broxburn, Bonnyrigg, Nitten, Musselburgh or Penicuik ever again if they stick with this, it'll be the same teams season after season after season.

So what if they get beat, lot of decent people involved in that club who opened their league up to bigger clubs in the spirit of openness and inclusivity.
