GNU_Linux
For context there are 15 saturdays between this Saturday & last Saturday of April. Talbot have 18 league games left plus are still in the Scottish, Junior cup & WOS cup so thats three Saturdays already lost. This is if the idea of getting the WOS winner into the playoffs for this season is being touted. If this idea isn't then ignore the above. If its from next season theres probably something that can be planned and played out.

I'm hopeful we will be in tier 6 next season, and we have floodlights. Burnieclub78
It's not a bad plan at all. 9 Saturday's in Aug / Sept add in 5 midweek games then it takes all pressure off finishing league in time.

If so great, cracking outfit, good youth system and exactly what is needed in the pyramid. At this stage we have not made any official moves towards applying for a licence. I do agree, though, we have just about everything in place to do so. Edited February 1, 2019 by glensmad

Guest
Why does is it suddenly become junior bashing when someone disagrees that playing lots of games over 2 weeks isn't great? Let's face it having played sat, Mon, Wed, sat, Tues, Thurs, Sat back in the day, it wasn't great. Now if its sat, wed, sat, wed.... That's different and more than achievable. On the whole juniors are in at tier 6 thing, I'm sure that any agreement has to be reached at the pwg meetings, it's great that the west feel that they have everything in place and hopefully they do come on along with the east integrated into the eosfl. The North doesn't appear to be an easy one to figure out. I do feel though that when someone claims they 'know' it would be helpful if they could evidence that so everyone else was also in the know.... If there isn't any evidence it becomes a process that will go round the merry go round endlessly.

LTHV v Kelty was postponed on 20th January 2018 because of a frozen pitch. Try harder next time.

Hows that for planning In the previous 2 weeks they only played 2 games (1 cup final from away) which left them with a backlog. Caused by two teams ground sharing at Saughton and LTHV not moving enough games to 3G. Happily this situation has been resolved with LTHV having played 16/24 and Tynecastle 18/24 in Conference B now that they are no longer ground sharing.
