I rather suspect the SJFA/WRJFA will plough on regardless in a bid to present a plan to the PWG. At least at that point the PWG have something to discuss regarding structure, whereas upto that point they have had nothing.
However, it's probably going to be a bit of a waste of time if they haven't listened to the EoS and include the ERJFA as a separate competitor league. Are the ERJFA involved in this planning at all or are they sitting in a corner being told what's going to happen?

it's about time the regions both junior & senior got round the table to talk. Things can only go so far with the sjfa as a whole representing some 130 clubs at the pwg. ERJFA,WRJFA and NRJFA should be represented directly at all remaining PWG's imo

Correct.  That might come once the SJFA plan is tabled and there's further stalemate/disagreement.

This is a real opportunity for West Junior clubs to seek written confirmation........

(1)  that the SFA/PWG/Lowland League has agreed there will be 4 feeder leagues in the Lowland geographical area

(2) unlikely, but if so, get confirmation that the SFA/PWG/Lowland League have agreed that the boundary will be moved to embrace north of Tayside clubs in this set up.

Or is this merely an SJFA attempt at getting an agreed final negotiating position for West and residual East clubs to adopt, At the end of next week, Hopefully, Glensmad and others, should be able to produce written confirmation (or not) of the outcome.

Lol, I'm not on the West Region management committee, so I'll not be producing any written confirmation of anything !

Beware the pyramid. Although jumping into bed with a bunch of vipers has its dangers also. Good luck with that.

By its very nature football is self serving, they c***s in the East will take that to another level.

They are not to be trusted, none of them.

As I said in a previous thread, their product is gash and they only want you guys to improve it.

Like the Tories, the SFA will lie, cheat do anything to get their business model through.

The big boys will be lauded like Messiah's, lots of others will be playing on public parks. But hold on wishyman, they've got floodlights, they're Seniors.

You couldn't fucking make it up.

The problem is going to be as always second hand information as it's sjfa at the negotiatingtable no WRSJFA which is why we have so many problems.

To be honest if they aren't playing ball they should just set up wosfl and whoever wants to go goes and the juniors can stay in land time forgot

It’s not the SJFA that are talking about a veto to the SFA plan!

So you'll be quitting watching Wishy when they go senior then? What you going to do with your Saturdays from next season?

Why do you want to see your club stagnate and indeed go backwards when Scottish football is moving forwards?

So the EOS should just accept a league at the same level in its territory whilst no other region of the country would have two leagues in one area? Aye ok then.

You could argue that the SoSL is a West League.

You could argue that the best way forward is for the wrsjfa and sosl to merge with the top half of each league forming the top two divisions of a new wosl structure and the ersjfa bolting on to the eosl structure meaning just 1 playoff place for each part of the lowlands.
You could essentially argue anything, but two places for the east would be a farce, perhaps its just time for the juniors to accept if they want to join the pyramid it has to make sense and having two east playoff places just so Tom Johnstone can go on wee jollies with the Scottish national team and others can have a day out in a bowling club in Perth or a wee sandwich, is not in the best interests of the game.

Why should the SoS merge with anyone?

Suspect there  will be more than six tears in the coming weeks, and they will be salty ones, The SFA can't force a league to change something, if they could then am sure the SPFL would look rather different.  Which will leave the west with a choice, stay as you are - or Jexit and convert the west league to a pyramid league.

It basically is for the purposes of senior football currently.

Prior to the Lowland League being set up East Kilbride FC were due to join. Edusport originally signed up while playing in Hamilton. Bonnyton Thistle currently. Clydebank even looked at it before opting for the EoS.

The bigger issue with taking an intact East Region into the pyramid is the number of clubs that fall North of the HL/LL dividing line.

They have,you’ve seen their e mail !

They can have a plan for any league they want but if the members of said league go nah! Balls burst then it’s not happening.

best chance for west is to go it alone, as sjfa won’t tell east region to join eosl if they want to join pyramid until that happens nothing is changing because eosl ain’t likely to vote for anything else and Am afraid the sjfa don’t actually have a say in who gets promoted to the  LL, they missed that boat some years ago.
