Eh maybe they have forwarded there payment and committed to the pyramid by stating intention to join eosl for next season. As the only 2 who have forwarded application and payment at this time they are being allowed to progress. Nobody else is being accepted at this time until the mess we are currently in is resolved and clear way forward agreed. Lthv have been awarded there licence which is totally separate to being allowed to progress with application. Would hope the embargo will be lifted soon and clear way forward agreed. We can but hope

It's not derision to point out that this is the future of tier 5 in the southern 80% of Scotland, the way the pyramid is currently constructed. A team with hardly any fans, and very basic facilities to add to the other teams with no fans who flit about from ground to ground, from town to town in order to participate at this level. It is ludicrous that the top junior clubs are being expected to be placed below this kind of stuff and on a par with glorified amateur teams playing glorified parks football. -

Either way the Junior "grade" is nearly dead. Edited April 24, 2018 by Jason King

The last update to the list of licensed clubs was 26th March and they do not appear on the list. If they are to be licensed I would assume that it will be approved at the next meeting of the licensing committee.

Sounds like a team in the West Super League to me. Shocking that the Juniors are so dependent on clubs like that to survive!!

The reason those teams are at tier 5 is because no junior teams wanted to join when it was set up. Now they'll have to join below, but after a few years, the better teams will have found their way up and the weaker teams will have dropped down. It's fair to say, though, that most junior teams would struggle to match LTHV on the park.

The big silver pole in the background of the pic immediately puts it ahead of some of our crumbling relics that pass as enclosures which wouldn't be issued with a safety certificate for much more than the 100 the LTHV cover holds. Whether Entry level (and all it asks / doesn't ask for) is right for SPFL L2 is another matter, but Saughton has coped with L2 level (and above) crowds a few times this season, e.g.... Well you certainly get some junior teams doing very daft things like constructing seating and not covering it.
