Since they aren't members of the EoSFL how can their application for licensing be in the pipeline?

Eh maybe they have forwarded there payment and committed to the pyramid by stating intention to join eosl for next season. As the only 2 who have forwarded application and payment at this time they are being allowed to progress.  Nobody else is being accepted at this time until the mess we are currently in is resolved and clear way forward agreed.   Lthv have been awarded there licence which is totally separate to being allowed to progress with application. Would hope the embargo will be lifted soon and clear way forward agreed. We can but hope

Well it's hardly Newlandsfield or Beechwood Park (x2) or Meadow Park or New Victoria Park or Newtown Park  is it?

Put that in Gayfield and it will be at UAFA licence level!

Could only happen in this narrow minded country! A team trying to improve facilities are the subject of your derision.

I'm not deriding their facilities they are to be congratulated on that, just amazed  that it could potentially be a SPFL ground  in the near future.

It's not derision to point out that this is the future of tier 5 in the southern 80% of Scotland,  the way the pyramid is currently constructed. A  team with hardly any fans, and very basic facilities to add to the other teams with no fans who flit about from ground to ground, from town to town in order to participate at this level.

It is ludicrous that the top junior clubs are being expected to be placed below this kind of stuff and on a par with glorified amateur teams playing glorified parks football.

But it is the future (apparently)

Yes, yes it is - you move to the senior pyramid now or when the rest of the Junior grade moves when TJ gets everyone integrated. Either way the Junior "grade" is nearly dead.

Carnoustie Panmure think this is way beyond their capabilities.

They haven't been. The last update to the list of licensed clubs was 26th March and they do not appear on the list.  If they are to be licensed I would assume that it will be approved at the next meeting of the licensing committee.

Sounds like a team in the West Super League to me. Shocking that the Juniors are so dependent on clubs like that to survive!!

The reason those teams are at tier 5 is because no junior teams wanted to join when it was set up. Now they'll have to join below, but after a few years, the better teams will have found their way up and the weaker teams will have dropped down. It's fair to say, though, that most junior teams would struggle to match LTHV on the park.

The big silver pole in the background of the pic immediately puts it ahead of some of our crumbling relics that pass as enclosures which wouldn't be issued with a safety certificate for much more than the 100 the LTHV cover holds.

Whether Entry level (and all it asks / doesn't ask for) is right for SPFL L2 is another matter, but Saughton has coped with L2 level (and above) crowds a few times this season, e.g....

Sounds like the majority of teams in the Juniors imo.

Well you certainly get some junior teams doing very daft things like constructing seating and not covering it. Such teams must think they're playing in southern Spain.

Give it up Isa, it's the same old disrespectful rhetoric.

Didn't Bens get the seats from the Commonweath Games bowling or something?
